Use of Force – Ron Martinelli, Ph.D.
The Justice Academy is proud to provide this literary collection authored and contributed by Dr. Ron Martinelli. This series of articles addresses a considerable number of contemporary topics associated with the criminal justice profession. Dr. Martinelli served for many years as police officer and detective for the Redwood City Police Department, San Jose PD, and Morro Bay PD in California. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology from Columbia Pacific University and in addition to being a prolific author on wide variety of subjects critical to the discipline, he also consults and advises law enforcement executives throughout the nation on some of the more serious issues associated with police use of force.
