National Institute for Trial Advocacy

The Justice Academy is pleased to provide this link to the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s, Studio 71 Webcasts. NITA’s team of practicing lawyers, professors and judges from around the nation dedicates its efforts to the training and development of skilled and ethical legal advocates to improve the adversarial justice system. NITA’s mission is to; promote justice through effective and ethical advocacy; train and mentor lawyers to be competent and ethical advocates in pursuit of justice; and develop and teach trial advocacy skills to support and promote the effective and fair administration of justice. With the encouragement of an American Bar Association (ABA) task force and other interested groups, three professional organizations funded the creation of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) in 1971: the Section of Judicial Administration of the ABA; the American College of Trial Lawyers; and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Since then, NITA has been developing and providing exemplary educational resources for use by trial lawyers and judges throughout the nation. JusticeAcademy.org greatly appreciates the cooperation and support of NITA’s executive leadership in making this resource available and we look forward to future collaborations.
