Any child knows that God created Adam and Eve; NOT, Adam and Steve! The very
notion of two homosexuals getting married is repulsive and disgusting. In
Romans 1:26 God calls homosexual "love"... vile affections, i.e.,
morally reprehensible affections.
God's Word condemns homosexuality, which is why Sodomites today are
relentlessly trying to
corrupt the Bible. Romans 1:25 told us they'd do this, "Who changed
the truth of God into a lie..."
Gay marriage is NO marriage at all in the eyes of God. Mark 10:9
plainly states that marriages are made in Heaven... "What therefore God
hath joined together, let not man put asunder."
God will not honor a sinful marriage between two lesbians or
homosexuals. The entire idea of same-sex-unions (i.e., gay marriage) is
foolish, absurd, and most of all, unbiblical. We are a spiritually destitute
people in America!
One of the best secular arguments against homosexual marriages is the fact
that a child NEEDS both a male and female role image in their
developmental stage. For a child to grow up healthy and normal, BOTH
male and female parental roles are required. A child who grows up with two
lesbian parents, will grow up warped and confused, having been denied the
privilege of a NORMAL home. Homosexuality is NOT an alternative lifestyle;
but rather, a sinful lifestyle. It's not "a new kind of family" as
the TV networks propagate; but is in reality a sinful kind of family.
Homosexuality is a horrible sin, which brought the destruction of God upon
the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Although some people have pointed out to
me that God destroyed Sodom for other sins besides homosexuality (Ezekiel
16:49), Jude 1:7 plainly states that God destroyed Sodom for sexual sins,
including that of going after "strange flesh" (a clear reference to the
unnatural behavior of homosexuality).
Furthermore, Genesis 19:1-9 gives us explicit details about an angry mob of
homosexuals in Sodom, who were about to break down Lot's front door and rape
the male guests (i.e., the angels). Genesis 19:4 reveals that Sodom was
saturated with homosexuals... "But before they lay down, the men of the
city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round,
both old and young, all the people from every quarter." Sodom
was known as a city of queers; hence the term, "sodomite." In addition,
Romans Chapter one is a solid indictment against the sin of
homosexuality. The fact that two homosexuals cannot produce
natural children is evidence enough, that something is VERY WRONG AND
UNNATURAL with being a homosexual. Homosexuality is a sin, which has led to
the CRAZY practice of artificial insemination. Please read,
Gay Men and Lesbians Utilizing Infertility Clinics to
Have Babies.
Think about how immoral and crazy this is! Two lesbians get married, and
then pay a complete stranger, a man, to donate his sperm to artificially
inseminate one or both of the women in a medical clinic. So while the two
lesbians are having lesbian sex, their babies are the result of artificial
insemination by a man they'll probably never even meet. How crazy is
that? Then there's the case of two homosexual men living together, who pay a
woman to be artificially inseminated with one of their sperm cells, so they
can be fathers? Folks, this stuff belongs on The Outer Limits! It
just goes to show that when mankind disobeys God's Word, things get crazy.

The Tyranny of Judges
Thomas
Jefferson’s worst nightmare seems to have come to pass.
Jefferson was very concerned that judges would become
despots and overrule the rights of the people. In 1820,
he wrote to a friend,
“You seem to consider
the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all
constitutional questions, a very dangerous doctrine
indeed, and one which would place us under the
despotism of an oligarchy. Our judges are as honest
as other men, and not more so.”
Jefferson realized that the Constitution protects the
will of the people, not the opinions of judges. But
instead of protecting the people’s vote on Proposition
8, Judge Walker used his judicial office to promote the
agenda of a small minority who want to change the
definition of marriage.
The
definition of marriage, instituted by God and practiced
by every culture since the creation of man, is under
attack in America today. There is no discrimination
against homosexuals in America with regard to marriage,
no unequal treatment. Homosexuals are equally as free to
marry as any other American. Their problem is that the
definition of marriage itself requires every person to
marry someone of the opposite sex. The fact that
homosexuals don’t want to enter into marriage as it has
always been defined doesn’t give them the right to use
the courts to change that definition to suit their
wishes. Changing the definition of marriage, as Judge
Walker has done, undermines the most important building
block of any society.
Judge
Walker described the “ability to marry” as a fundamental
right that cannot be denied to gays and lesbians. But
this conclusion is complete and utter nonsense. Every
society in history has placed restrictions on the
“ability to marry.” You can’t marry your sister. You
can’t legally be married to two or three people at the
same time. You can’t marry someone who is already
married. And you can’t marry someone of the same sex.
Marriage by definition involves two people of opposite
sexes who are—theoretically, at least—biologically
capable of reproducing and forming families.

Gay Marriage... Civil Union
by J. Domínguez, M.D.|
July 2003
Gay Unions in Canada, USA,
Netherlands, Belgium, Europe, Argentina, Chile:
In Canada:
Homosexual activists scored a major victory with the announcement
by Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien that he would
propose a bill to legalize gay marriage throughout the country. Currently,
only Belgium and the Netherlands recognize same-sex
marriages... Canada could be the third country to do so (June, 2003).
Ontario,
British Columbia and Quebec already sided with homosexual unions... Chrétien
said the federal government would not appeal any of the provincial court
rulings, and would draft legislation to recognize gay unions,
the Globe and Mail reported June 18, 2003.
Nine of
Canada's 10 provinces will accept the extension of marriage to same-sex
couples. The the only holdout is Alberta.
An
Ontario appeals court last week declared Canada's definition of
marriage, as the union of a man and woman invalid, and changed it to a union
between two people. The court ordered legalization of same-sex marriages. By
Tuesday, June 17, 2003, 12 gay couples had been granted marriage licenses in
Windsor, with at least one wedding taking place. Three of the 12 couples
were American.
Suburban
Detroit residents Jennifer Paty and Erin James are among those planning to
head to Windsor, just across the river from Detroit, to seek a marriage
license. They just need to do some paperwork required in Canada, certifying
James' divorce 15 years ago.
In the USA:
Homosexual
marriage lacks full legal recognition in all 50 states. Vermont
recognizes civil unions that give homosexual couples the
full benefits and responsibilities of marriage but are separate from legal
marriage.
The Supreme
Court on June 26, 2003, overturned a Texas law that banned gay sex,
a landmark ruling for gay rights activists that overturned a decision the
court made 17 years earlier.
In this case -
Lawrence v. Texas - the two men at the heart of the case, John Geddes
Lawrence and Tyron Garner, were each fined $200 and spent a night in jail
for a misdemeanor sex charge when police forced their way into their
apartment and found them having anal sex in 1998.
The men
"are entitled to respect for their private lives," Justice Anthony Kennedy
wrote for the majority, "In our tradition the State is not omnipresent in
our home... Liberty presumes an autonomy of self that includes freedom of
thought, belief, expression, and certain intimate conduct."
Of the 13
states with sodomy laws, four — Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri —
prohibit oral and anal sex between same-sex couples. The other nine ban
consensual sodomy for everyone: Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana,
Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah and Virginia.
Thursday's ruling apparently invalidates those laws as well.
The ruling
could be used by gays and others to challenge a wide range of laws on the
basis of a right to privacy:
After this
ruling, laws criminalizing fornication, bigamy, adultery, adult incest,
bestiality and obscenity cannot survive court review... and even it may open
doors for "homosexual marriages or unions or contracts".
Whereas Judge
Scalia sees this ruling as the first step in a downward spiral of judicial
inconsistency and legislative disempowerment, Judge Kennedy sees it as the
first step toward a more modern view of individualized freedom and liberty.
Who is right? No one today can say. I suppose that's one of the many things
that keeps the Supreme Court such a fascinating body to watch from term to
term.
President
Bush said on July 2, 2003, "What I do support is the notion that
marriage is between a man and a woman."
Federal law defines marriage
as between one woman and one man... a law on the books right now that passed
with massive, overwhelming bipartisan majorities in 1996, Defense of
Marriage Act.
In
Europe and Latin America:
The Netherlands and Belgium give full marriage
rights to same-sex couples. Varying degrees of legal recognition already
have been given to homosexual couples in France, Germany, Finland, Sweden,
Norway, Denmark and Iceland, the New York Times noted June 15.
The push for
gay unions is growing in Latin America too. Earlier this month, legislation
to grant legal status to same-sex couples was introduced in Chile's
Congress. In Argentina, authorities in Buenos Aires
were poised to start processing petitions to recognize the same-sex
unions within 60 days, the newspaper El Clarín reported May 20. The move
follows a decision made by city authorities last December.
Buenos Aires is the first Latin American capital to give same-sex
couples a recognition: The city will extend to gay unions
the same welfare and civil privileges given to marriages, with the exception
of inheritance and adoption rights. (Only the federal government could grant
homosexual couples the full legal status of marriage.) City authorities will
maintain a register of the unions, which can be dissolved by mutual consent,
or by the unilateral decision of one of the partners.
"Gay Marriage" and "Marriage"... Civil Union, Gay Union,
Homosexual Union or Contract:
Often people talks about "Gay Marriage" as a Marriage between two
persons of the same sex.
However, most
people call it "Civil Union" or "Gay Union" because a sexual relation
between two persons of the same sex can never bear children... and to bear
children is something very important for a regular Marriage.
In fact, the
words "Gay Marriage" are actually a prostitution of the word "Marriage"... a
Marriage with the full conscience of impossibility of the fruit of
children?.
This is how God
established Marriage in the first chapter of the first book of the Bible:
27 So God created man in his
own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created
them.
28 God blessed them and said to
them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.
Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living
creature that moves on the ground." (Genesis 1:27-28).
God created
human beings "Male and Female", with the specific purpose of bearing
children, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth...
and this was written in times of Moses about 4500 years ago.
Christian
Marriage is a "Contract" between two persons of different sex, and a
"Sacrament", the sign of something sacred and hidden, a visible sign of the
love of God, a fountain of the blessings of God... a childless Christian
Marriage is still a great blessing of God!
For a Jew or a
Christian or a Muslim the words "Homosexual Marriage" are an abomination
against what the Bible says and against the concept of Marriage in our
civilization for thousands of years, including Hindus, Buddhists, and even
Atheists...
Gay Marriage or Civil Union are Worthless:
A so called Gay
Marriage or Civil Union is worthless in our society:
Because anybody
can live officially together, of the same or different sex, 2 or 20... any 2
persons can have a bank account officially together, and have a house
officially in the name of both persons, and make officially a testament for
each other, anybody can adopt a child... and what else?... anybody can have
sexual relations in private as he or she wants, any single or married
person, and he or she is only responsible to his conscience and to God.
Homosexuality, Sodomy:
The story of
Sodom and Gomorrah was deeply imbedded in Israelite tradition: It becomes a
proverbial example as the extreme of depravity, not for the sexual
orientation, but for boasting about it (Dt.32:32, Is.1:10, Jer.23:14,
Ezk.16:46-56, Mt.10:15, 11:23, Lk.10:12, Apc.11:8).
And it also becomes a proverbial example of the anger and judgment of Yahweh
(Dt.29:22f, Is.1:9, Jer.20:16, 49:18, 50:40, Lam.4:6, Am.4:11, Zp.2:9,
Lk.17:29, 2Pt.2:6, Jd.7).
Homosexuality-Sodomy
Stance of
Churches on Gay Marriage:
Most churches in Canada and the
world oppose the decision to extend marital status to same-sex unions.
Catholics, Muslims, Hindus and Orthodox Jews publicly declared their desire
that the government maintain the definition of marriage as a union between a
man and a woman.
Presbyterians are also against
the change, even if the Reverend Wayne Stretch, regional minister for the
Presbyterian Synod of British Columbia, acknowledged the matter is causing
"considerable angst within our church."
On behalf
of Baptists, Bill Mains, director of ministries for the Baptist Union of
Western Canada, said: "Our position has always been that we see marriage as
a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman to the exclusion of all
others."
Anglicans are split over the issue, said
Neale Adams, a spokesman for the Anglican Church of Canada, although he said
that no priest in the denomination will preside over a homosexual "marriage"
ceremony.
The only groups in Canada in favor are
the United Church of Canada, the Canadian Unitarian Church, Buddhists, and a
coalition of 25 rabbis from Reform Jewish congregations. Debate is
continuing within the Reform Jewish movement, Canada's second-largest Jewish
denomination.
Marriage as a
public commitment between a man and a woman has profound cultural, religious
and social significance. The State has a fundamental interest in this social
institution where most children are procreated and nurtured and, according
to recent statistics, continues to be the most stable environment in which
to raise a family.
The president
of the bishops' conference in Canada explained that the decision will also
constitute discrimination against heterosexual marriage and the family,
"which are thus deprived of their social and legal recognition as the
fundamental and irreplaceable basis of society."
John Paul II, in a speech made Oct. 20, 2001, to participants in a
prayer vigil commemorating the publication of "Familiaris
Consortio," warned: "If we lose the conviction that the family founded
on marriage cannot in any way be equated with other forms of emotional
relationship, we undermine the very structure of society and its juridical
foundation."
A large part of
contemporary society looks sadly like that humanity which Paul describes in
his Letter to the Romans:
It is composed
"of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth" (Rom.1:18):
having denied God and believing that they can build the earthly city without
him, "they became futile in their thinking" so that "their
senseless minds were darkened" (Rom.1:21); "claiming to be wise,
they became fools" (Rom.1:22), carrying out works deserving of death,
and "they not only do them but approve those who practice them"
(1:32)... they not only do them, but they boast about them!
When
conscience, this bright lamp of the soul (Mt 6:22-23), calls "evil good
and good evil" (Is 5:20), it is already on the path to the most
alarming corruption and the darkest moral blindness.
Marriage:
Culture of Death... Culture of Life:
The greatest
plague today in the world is not AIDS, with one in 1000
marriages; nor drugs, with 10 in 1000; nor alcohol,
with 50 in 1000, nor abortion with 53 million abortions per
year worldwide… the greatest plague today is marriage separations
and divorces, with 300 in 1000 marriages, with the most serious
consequences for millions of children.
The Culture of Death... and Culture of Life:
Our civilization, with so many scientific and technological
advances, should be the Culture of life and love and truth... however it is
sinking into a Culture of Death:
In addition to
the ancient scourges of poverty, hunger, endemic diseases, natural
disasters, violence and war, new threats are emerging on an alarmingly vast
scale: Abortion , euthanasia (to kill the very poor or the handicapped, or
the very ill or too old), a contraceptive mentality, sterilization,
homosexuality, drugs, terrorism, murder...
The scandalous
arms trade, which spawns the many armed conflicts which stain our world with
blood, arbitrary imprisonment, deportation, slavery, prostitution, the
selling of women and children; as well as disgraceful working conditions,
where people are treated as mere instruments of gain rather than as free and
responsible persons...
The promotion
of certain kinds of sexual activity spreading AIDS, syphilis, herpes,
hepatitis...besides being morally unacceptable, also involve grave risks to
life...
Contraceptives
do not reduce abortions but increase them: The contraceptive
mentality--which is very different from responsible parenthood,
lived in respect for the full truth of the conjugal act--are such that they
in fact strengthen this temptation when an unwanted life is conceived.
Indeed, the pro- abortion culture is especially strong
precisely where the Church's teaching on contraception is rejected.
Certainly, from the moral point of view contraception and abortion
are specifically different evils: the former contradicts the full truth of
the sexual act as the proper expression of conjugal love, while the latter
destroys the life of a human being; the former is opposed to the virtue of
chastity in marriage, the latter is opposed to the virtue of justice and
directly violates the divine commandment "You shall not kill"....despite the
differences, contraception and abortion are often closely connected, as
fruits of the same tree... of sin!
Abortion: "Pro-Choice" and
"Pro-Life"... God is Pro-Life!
The family in
the modern world, as much as and perhaps more than any other institution,
has been beset by the many profound and rapid changes that have affected
society and culture.
To restore our
civilization into a Culture of Life, we have first of all to restore the
values of the Family in accordance with God's plan, the "sanctuary of
life"... and a new Culture of Life will be affirmed, for the building of an
authentic civilization of truth and love.
The Plan of God for Marriage:
Since the first book of the Bible the Plan of God for
marriage is to be like "a piece of heaven on earth".
Gen.2:24, after creating Eve, says "this is why a man leaves his
father and mother and becomes attached to his wife, and they become one
flesh". Marriage, therefore, are two persons in one flesh, which
sounds a bit like the "Holy Trinity", "three persons, one God". And to be
more like the Trinity, in a perfect marriage there should be "three persons
in one flesh", and the three persons in marriage should be, the husband, the
wife, and Jesus in the heart of both of them. Three persons in one flesh, a
piece of heaven on earth!.
The big problem is that many marriages look like "a piece of hell on earth".
And the reason is because the three persons in many marriages are the
husband, the wife, and Satan in them… and where Satan is, there is
misunderstandings, and separations, and divorces… the main plague of our
times!.
If you have any serious difficulties in your marriage, try Jesus!… both of
you, become good Christians, and most misunderstandings, separation and
divorce problems will disappear. The "piece of hell on earth" will become a
"piece of heaven on hearth".
When the sense of God is lost, the sense of man is also
threatened and poisoned... Moreover, once all reference to God has been
removed, it is not surprising that the meaning of everything else becomes
profoundly distorted
There are however still many married couples who, with a generous sense of
responsibility, are ready to accept children as "the supreme gift of
marriage".
The Gospel of life is at the heart of Jesus' message...
this Gospel of life, which the Church has received from the Lord, has a
profound and persuasive echo in the heart of every person--believer and
non-believer alike--because it marvelously fulfils all the heart's
expectations while infinitely surpassing them.
The unconditional choice for life reaches its full religious and moral
meaning when it flows from, is formed by and nourished by faith in
Christ. Nothing helps us so much to face positively the conflict
between death and life in which we are engaged as faith in the Son of God
who became man and dwelt among men so "that they may have life, and have it
abundantly" (Jn.10:10). It is a matter of faith in the Risen Lord, who has
conquered death; faith in the blood of Christ "that speaks more graciously
than the blood of Abel" (Heb.12:24).
The one who accepted "Life" in the name of all and for the sake of all was
Mary, the Virgin Mother; she is thus most closely and
personally associated with the Gospel of life. Mary's consent at the
Annunciation and her motherhood stand at the very beginning of the mystery
of life which Christ came to bestow on humanity (Jn 10:10). Through her
acceptance and loving care for the life of the Incarnate Word, human life
has been rescued from condemnation to final and eternal death.
The angel's Annunciation to Mary is framed by these reassuring words: "Do
not be afraid, Mary" and "with God nothing will be impossible" (Lk.1:30,
37).
The Lamb who was slain is alive, bearing the marks of his
Passion in the splendor of the Resurrection. He alone is master of all the
events of history: he opens its "seals" (Rev.5:1-10) and proclaims, in time
and beyond, the power of life over death. In the "new Jerusalem", that new
world towards which human history is traveling, "death shall be no more,
neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former
things have passed away" (Rev.21:4).

Bush cheers 'gay' church
after 'Marriage Week'
Attempts to please family
advocates, homosexuals baffle both groups

Not long after he
endorsed "Marriage Protection Week," President Bush sent a letter of
congratulations to a denomination founded by homosexual activists that
performs more than 6,000 same-sex "weddings" each year.
The president wrote to
the founding congregation in Los Angeles of the Metropolitan
Community Churches, led by leading homosexual activist Rev. Troy D.
Perry, on the occasion of its 35th anniversary.
"By encouraging the
celebration of faith and sharing of God's love and boundless mercy,
churches like yours put hope in people's hearts and a sense of purpose
in their lives," Bush said in his Oct. 14 missive. "This milestone
provides an opportunity to reflect on your years of service and to
rejoice in God's faithfulness to your congregation."

The
only "gay" marriage is between a man and a woman!
Why
does the "mainstream press" condemn the Catholic Church for allowing
predatory homosexuals to destroy the lives of boys, while simultaneously
condemning the Boy Scouts of America for not allowing precisely the
same thing in their organization?
