As the ESGS is still a relatively new business function, the role for the next 12 months is expected to involve a significant component of strategic design and development that may require specific experience. It is anticipated that over time, the operational component of the role could expand that may require different experience. For this reason, this opportunity is being posted as a 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension, subject to organizational needs and mutual interest at the expiry of the 12 month term.
Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening.

The Government of Alberta has implemented a proof of COVID 19 vaccination policy for all Alberta Public Service employees, to improve the health and safety of Alberta Public Service employees and Albertans we serve. This policy would require you to:
Provide proof of COVID 19 vaccination;
If you are the successful candidate and have not provided proof of COVID 19 vaccination, you may; select to produce a negative PCR (molecular polymerase chain reaction) or rapid test result date-stamped within 72 hours of every scheduled work day/shift, on an ongoing basis. These tests will be paid for by the employee;
Candidates and employees who are unable to get vaccinated based on a protected ground under the Alberta Human Rights Act may request approval for an exemption and accommodation.
At the time of offer successful candidates are required to show proof of vaccination with QR code or indicate you will be participating in the PCR or rapid testing.
