Eternal Life is the Gift and Promise of God

Titus 1:2 and
Ephesians 2:8, “In hope of eternal life, which God,
that cannot lie,
promised
before the world began... it is the
gift
of God.”
I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that I am saved and on my way to Heaven. How do I know you ask? It is because eternal life is the gift and promise of God. I am not trusting in my own efforts, nor self-righteousness; but rather, the righteousness of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. I rejoice in God's salvation. It is His salvation, and not mine. Repeatedly throughout the Word of God we read the words... THY SALVATION!
Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
A lot of religious people today have become caught up in the hellish false doctrine of Lordship Salvation, which shares the same philosophy as Catholics, i.e., that being born-again means surrendering one's life to Jesus. This is not Biblical salvation. You don't have to surrender anything to be saved. Salvation is of the Lord, offered freely in Christ Jesus. Revelation 22:17, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And WHOSOEVER WILL, let him take the water of life freely.”
The Bible teaches that eternal life is the free gift and promise of God. It's already paid for in full, by Jesus' precious blood. 1st Peter 1:18-18, “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; BUT WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” —Romans 6:23
Salvation is not a reward, it is a free gift. Those false prophets who teach that a person must first amend their sinful ways to be saved are perverting the Gospel message. You get saved first, and then God changes you. A person needs a new nature before they can truly change. 2nd Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” A man does not become a “new creature” until he is IN CHRIST. Regeneration must proceed reformation. Amen!
Eternal life is the PROMISE of God. I am saved because God made me a PROMISE, and that promise is to save those who believe on Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God. John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
God the Father will forgive any sinner who comes to Him for forgiveness by way of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
How much plainer could the Bible be?
“No Christian will ever have his
name blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life,
for all such have eternal
life—which is unforfeitable and everlasting.”
