I live in ottawa my whole life there's a couple good spots in the area to stay at close to down town close to coventry its not the prettiest but it's a good option its called the ottawa Inn about routes I'm not sure but all of ottawa is OK to drive except for the protest area

There was an injunction signed by a judge that says the truckers can’t honk for ten days. Maybe he doesn’t want to be in front of the media and plus he’s working on the ground, where the other truckers need him to provide food, accommodation, gas etc… not everyone needs to be at the forefront.

Let’s also hope restaurants and employers don’t try to enforce their own store policy and still continue to require and ask for passports. The WEF is not going to go without a fight or without having great fear that they will be smashed by this world-wide movement. Even then the WEF members will be sorely afraid of ending up like Mussolini hanging in the Milan Square and will fight to avoid that.
I think people greatly underestimate the overall importance of Ottawa and underestimate the difficulty of overcoming Trudeau. He and the WEF simply cannot afford to lose. I fear also that the People of the world cannot afford to lose in Ottawa. It will likely be the People's last battle if they lose Ottawa.
I do not agree that this is only about a non violent confrontation. I don't think the WEF will fold because of a lengthy non violent protest of a few thousand truckers. They have been working on this tyranny plan for 100 years. I think they will fold only if they are clearly weaker in strength than the People's Army. Whether it is non violent or violent confrontation, for either way to succeed requires great power standing behind the Truckers with obvious reserve waiting behind them. This means the WEF must act now before the People's Army grows too large with strong reserves. I expect action by the WEF soon to squash this uprising. This is not about Trudeau, this is the WEF plan in place around the world. Everyone must be ready to heavily support the Truckers and step into the battle if they are attacked."

Premier Kenney just announced that while some COVID restrictions will be removed soon, ALL restrictions won't be removed until a "date to be determined".

Not Good Enough.

In short, here's what's happening...

Stage 1 means that the government's Restriction Exemption Program is ending tonight at midnight, although entertainment venues will still face restrictions around closing hours, movement, masking, etc.

Stage 2 might start next Monday, and would mean mask requirements for children end both in schools and in public.

Then the government plans to "pause" for three weeks and wait to see what happens.

If things go "well", we would move on to Stage 3.

Stage 3 means that other restrictions like capacity limits, gathering restrictions, indoor masking, and remaining limits on entertainment venues would be removed.

Finally, at a "date to be determined", remaining restrictions like at continuing care venues and isolation requirements would be removed.

Unfortunately, we've seen all this before.

We've been promised re-opening plans with stages, steps, phases, chapters, and such before, and none of them have actually been followed.

Premier Kenney has delayed, cancelled, or reneged on re-opening plans so many times we've lost count.

This time, he's not even denying it.

He explicitly said that the government might have to pause some of these changes, which makes all the dates announced today meaningless.

Once again, the government will make decisions over people's lives in an arbitrary manner, based on the pressure they come under from the media and unions, not based on what's right to protect Albertan's rights.

We need to send a loud and clear message to the Premier RIGHT NOW that this isn't good enough.

All COVID restrictions must be removed NOW, not at some arbitrary future date.

Demanding for freedom may not be enough. Here is why.

The opposition includes Trudeau, Liberals, media and many of the vaxed. They think that the truck convoy is an anti-Covid-vax protest no matter how many times you tell them it is not about the vax.

In my opinion, Trudeau thinks he is doing what his base of voters wants. He thinks he has the support of the majority of the voters. These people exist, because 83% of Canadians are vaxed. These people do not care about your freedom. By demanding for freedom, you are not going to change these voters’ minds. You need to change these voters’ minds in order to change the Liberals’ minds. To do that, you need to explain to them one of the following:

1. The vax is dangerous and therefore, they should not want it either.

2. The vax does not work and this has been known since July 2021. After a while, it provided negative protection. Therefore the mandate is useless.

There is so much misinformation on all the channels, and social media, I don't take most of the stuff circulated as real. Too much manipulated, partial, non relevant (not even from Canada ,or the protest sites) is being circulated to fit various narratives.

Few things I have learnt are:
A) Don't trust everything you see on social media..trying to save yourself pawn/ sheep of govt, you are risking becoming pawns at someone else's hands. Do own research to get to truth as much as you can.
B) Don't let emotions take over your thinking, or you will become pawns & risk getting used by others for their motives..
C) Protestors have made some mistakes..when gone to Parliament, it was for serious concerns and issues. Some people just seem to have come to party, became irresponsible (although temporary) citizens who totally disregarded the rights of residents of the city (i.e. constant honking, not funny!) In that process, really pissed of many residents in the red zone (blocks near Parliament Hill). When fighting for freedom, one must be careful not to step over others freedoms in the process
D) Cops are not out to get everyone. They have a job to do, which is to keep the city safe for all (not just the residents, protestors as well).
E) The govt is not out to get anyone..and the decisions being asked of them are not easy to make. I am in support for people getting their freedom of choice, but I am hard time believing that the govt is out to get their own citizens as many are being led to believe.
F) I have learnt to not believe conspiracy theories.. there is strong data that supports vaccines, and restrictions...
G) All politicians try to find opportunities to use a bad situation for Canadians to garner support / votes. There are possibly very few "honest" politicians..I have yet to find them. Some are just worst than others. Currently it seems no party has any interest in finding the best solution (maybe there isn't even one right now).. All I have seen on social media is most of them trying to use the situation to point fingers at one another.. the Parliament debates are useless.. I wish they would just put aside party differences and personal egos and work for the Canadians..
H) No quick and fast solution seems to be in sight. The govts have to consider everything when making decisions (hospitals capacity, immunocompromised, aging populations...) and come to a solution as soon as possible
I) Blockages hurt everyone if not immediately, but very soon. No one will be a winner at the end from what I can see. Blockages = Less competition = price to move goods goes higher = inflation goes higher for all Canadians.
J) In the fight, be very careful that you do not let enemies ruin our beautiful country... there seems to be a lot of outsider influence that is arising. Do not let your emotions overtake you..and rhe differences become so big that put us against fellow Canadians at "other outsider" instigation. Our country is too precious, and should be at heart of all Canadians.

All humans are good, so have faith in your fellow Canadians..and even your govts.

We will come through.. no govt has a handbook on how to manage a pandemic.. everyone is learning as they move forward. It is a fluid situation..

I pray for the best outcome for all Canadians.. Hopefully smart heads can come together with solutions for all Canadians very very soon.

The best solution is the one where everybody wins (hence the reason for negotiations).

My prayers are with each one of you. Stay strong, stay safe..keep praying. God is the healer..and God also shows the light.. Prayers will help us all come out of this together where every Canadian wins.

Yes, I posted on this, too. While we’re all busy reclaiming freedom from mandates, I suspect they’ll maybe sell out our country. Phone the MPs. Tell them we want info, and a referendum. No accord wanted with the WHO to take over our/global health care or climate change issues.

The WEF is not going to go without a fight or without having great fear that they will be smashed by this world-wide movement. Even then the WEF members will be sorely afraid of ending up like Mussolini hanging in the Milan Square and will fight to avoid that.
I think people greatly underestimate the overall importance of Ottawa and underestimate the difficulty of overcoming Trudeau. He and the WEF simply cannot afford to lose. I fear also that the People of the world cannot afford to lose in Ottawa. It will likely be the People's last battle if they lose Ottawa.
I do not agree that this is only about a non violent confrontation. I don't think the WEF will fold because of a lengthy non violent protest of a few thousand truckers. They have been working on this tyranny plan for 100 years. I think they will fold only if they are clearly weaker strength than the People's Army. Whether it is non violent or violent confrontation, for either to succeed requires great power standing behind the Truckers with obvious reserve waiting behind them. This means the WEF must act now before the People's Army grows too large with strong reserves. I expect action by the WEF soon to squash this uprising. This is not about Trudeau, this is the WEF plan in place around the world. Everyone must be ready to heavily support the Truckers and step into the battle if they are attacked."

More children die and are molested in foster care then their own families I have friends that were crown ward and given 10,000 at the age of 21 I believe it's standard compensation for molested children also like the courts they always support the mother not the father thus contributing to the destruction of the family unit. Also this was back in the w5 days an audit was done for all ontario Cas and they found out the company budget was being spent on vacations and 80,000 cars. And are we really going to defend another (government) agency not to mention what they did with rez kids.

"It is not Trudeau's choice to step down or to attempt to stay. It is the decision of the World Economic Forum (WEF). This is a critical decision which will affect the entire world. This is not a battle for just Canada, it is a battle for the World. This is the first domino of corruption and if it falls, the entire plan of the WEF fails because all the corrupt dominos will fall if they are forced out of power. Leaving them in power really is simply a short respite for the People.
Frankly, the WEF cannot afford for Trudeau to step down. If he falls, Biden falls, Australia falls, New Zealand falls and all of Europe falls. Then the rest of the world joins in.
The sane world is crazy not to make Ottawa the hill they will die on and not give in. It is an opportunity unexpected. Probably an opportunity that will not come again.
The Truckers are truly the People's Army. Where else could you quickly assemble such a strong, younger Army to possibly confront the Globalist Tyranny Army? It is an Army everyone else can join and get behind. Half the Globalist Tyranny Army will desert them and join the Truckers if they appear to succeed in Ottawa.
Truckers can win, this but it will take support from everyone. There is a window of opportunity that will not stay open forever. Time is not on our side.
The WEF is not going to go without a fight or without having great fear that they will be smashed by this world-wide movement. Even then the WEF members will be sorely afraid of ending up like Mussolini hanging in the Milan Square and will fight to avoid that.
I think people greatly underestimate the overall importance of Ottawa and underestimate the difficulty of overcoming Trudeau. He and the WEF simply cannot afford to lose. I fear also that the People of the world cannot afford to lose in Ottawa. It will likely be the People's last battle if they lose Ottawa.
I do not agree that this is only about a non violent confrontation. I don't think the WEF will fold because of a lengthy non violent protest of a few thousand truckers. They have been working on this tyranny plan for 100 years. I think they will fold only if they are clearly weaker in strength than the People's Army. Whether it is non violent or violent confrontation, for either way to succeed requires great power standing behind the Truckers with obvious reserve waiting behind them. This means the WEF must act now before the People's Army grows too large with strong reserves. I expect action by the WEF soon to squash this uprising. This is not about Trudeau, this is the WEF plan in place around the world. Everyone must be ready to heavily support the Truckers and step into the battle if they are attacked."

Today I watched Kenny make the announcement and I want to say Don't trust the government. We are like puppets and they are playing with our lives. We need to abolish all mandates including vax pass and QR and not have any business to impose QR codes to serve customers.
