Watch & Pray - Freedom Convoy 2022 30.01.2022 19:10:06
A ‘LITTLE’ POEM to remember what is happening - it came to me as I was praying for this great land of ours!
- By Catherine Dellerba -
In a beautiful land glorious and free,
Stretched far and wide from sea to sea;
With magnificent mountains rising up from the snow,
Were Holy words spoken – “Let my people go”.
You see there was a disease, a serious flu,
It happened each year, it was nothing that new.
But now this plandemic had become a small giant,
Oh beware sweet people if you were defiant.
Many a person was directed astray,
By the media whose lies changed every day;
They fell for the stories, hoaxes and such,
The government lockdowns left them without much.
There were some who believed and they kept on praying
That someday soon – there would be a new swaying.
Fight for freedom they said, is it too much to ask?
But still the majority kept on their face mask.
They thought for sure that there in plain sight,
All would take notice and pick up the fight.
But to no avail they were labelled as anti,
Racist, rebellious, aint no vigilante.
Most churches closed down, they all met on Zoom,
The ones who were faithful only had standing room.
Police locked up pastors obedient to God,
Just you wait, Mr. Cop, for the real iron rod.
On their knees they had almost all given up hope,
At protests and rallies at memes they would grope.
Until at last their prayers reached the heavens,
The stones in the physical are not the right weapons.
They all met in secret, trying to keep things like normal,
They made no announcements – it was very informal.
Their children, all healthy, played games at the park,
At meetings they planned, it was all after dark.
Then out of the ashes, a David arose,
He said that his truck could deliver the blows.
He called all his buddies and they devised a plan,
7 days of trucking, and so it began.
A movement that no one themselves could have dreamed,
An impossible task at first it all seemed.
But just like that crossing of the Red Sea,
God opened a path way – it was all meant to be.
The Truckers they gathered, set out from Vancouver,
The Great Rocky Mountains they had to manoeuvre.
Alberta was next, they came from all ‘round,
Honking their horns – that great trucking sound.
Nourishment, warmth and love in abundance,
The guidance of God was each their assurance.
Saskatchewan, Manitoba – by the touch of each hand,
They traversed across the prairies by land.
On every bridge and corner – so icy and cold,
The Patriots were cheering, both young and old.
The Maple Leaf was flying high,
“We love you” “Go Truckers” littered the sky.
Then came the convoys right out of the East,
Quebec, Nova Scotia, USA to the feast.
Ontario bound – there was no stopping them now,
To the capital buildings downtown Ottawa.
You could feel the love growing, in great leaps and bounds,
O Canada, tears of joy and relief in these sounds;
Finally, the country was coming together,
To take down the evil, no matter the weather.
Those on their knees for 1 hour in prayer,
Oh Lord give us peace, destroy the Prince of the Air.
There were others cooking, making food for our heroes,
Whilst giant angels deflected the arrows.
Labelled “racist”, “hateful” a “very small fringe”,
Those divisive words did not make us cringe.
We laughed in the face of the enemies’ attempt,
To try to stop us, but from stones we’re exempt!
This powerful convoy has stirred up the world,
The freedom from God, and His gifts are unfurled.
The story right now is far from done,
But just wait, those semi’s weigh more than a ton.
The request and demands are that all lockdowns end,
That people and businesses can once more start to mend.
No more mandates, no lockdowns, no vaccine pass,
Schools, churches all open – no standing behind glass.
We, ALL the people, say enough is enough.
Until you submit – we all will stay tough.
We’re fighting for freedom, for our children’s future;
May God Divinely Bless this beautiful picture!
