The many faces of one of
Japan's premier computer artists
EARLY YEARS
Born in April 14,1960 in Kyoto. His father and grandfather are the photographers.
Glowing up
in a progressive environment surrounded by artists and their works major
force in early artists development.
PREPARATION
- Color Training (1977-1979)
Learned design and color composition from a kimono dyeing master in Kyoto.
Developed a keen eye and love for traditional Japanese color,its complex
chromatic interplay and subtle tonalities.
- Design,Photography and Music (1980-1984)
Studied photography at Kyoto Technical Textile University and Gpaphic design at
Saga Junior College of Arts. Taught himself the synthesizer and released
his first music work during this period. It was a music cassette & book including
original silk screen
prints and packaged with his own graphic design. Released by an independent label
in Kyoto.
APPLICATION
- Graphic Design, Music Videos, Computer Art(1985-1987)
Joined Mos Advertising, Inc. Assigned to new division of select copywriters
and cameramen. Learned graphic design and music videos,
and discovered the computer, quickly moving from graphic design to photographs,
images, music,computer, graphics gamed and other avenues.
- Creative Synthesis(1998- )
Found Outside Directors Company. Projects include advertising planning
and production, books, CD jackets, character design, computer graphics,
event planning and management, gallery planning and management,
image media,music, magazine planning and production and more.
