A few years ago something funny happened to
me, which I'd like to share with you. Shortly after I had moved into my
present rental home, a neighbour's small dog would come over to terrorize
me. He was a fairly small sized black dog, with
some brownish highlights here and there. He seemed healthy and well fed. I hated that stupid mutt! He would
stand about 10 feet away and aggressively bark at the top of his lungs at
me, and wouldn't stop. I did more barbequing back then than I do now, since
I've lost a lot of weight, and
that dog was really bothering me. I think his owner lived over on the next
block, and I didn't know who he was, so I didn't feel like going over and
complaining about his devil off a leash!
At first I tried throwing things at him, not to hurt him but to scare him away. I'm not very good with my aim. My radiculitis (radiating pain in my arms and legs), caused by my permanent neck injury, hinders me from throwing much anyway. That didn't work. So then I tried yelling at him, “Go away you stupid dog!” That made him bark even more aggressively. I tell you, this little fella really enjoyed barking at me every time I sat outside my door. I could literally see him running with glee from his house toward mine, with his tongue hanging out, coming over just to aggravate and antagonize me!
It was getting to the place where I was hesitant to even go sit outside; but then, after about a month of tolerating that dastardly little runt, I thought of a brainstorm idea. I would convert him with what dogs love most, food! So each time I barbequed, I started throwing pieces of cooked, succulent, seasoned, beef skirt steak toward him. His initial reaction was to run away quickly, since I had been throwing things at him for the past month. But then he'd quietly circle back around, and I would hear him eating in the background. Then he'd bark at me again. Boy, did he love that steak! I kept doing that a couple times a week for a month, and little by little he stopped barking as much, until he finally stopped barking completely.
But wait, there's more to the story. That little fella really started taking a liking to me! Each time he saw me, he was now becoming my buddy, and we would barbecue together. Since I live alone, he was welcome company. He'd sit there watching and waiting, and I'd toss him a bunch of succulent flame-barbequed skirt steak, and ribeye, and barbequed chicken quarters. We became friends. He loved me so much over time that one night, while I was preparing food in the kitchen, he came into my house to check it out! I let him come him, and didn't scare him. I was intrigued that this mutt, who had been terrorizing me, is now actually sitting in my house and having a good time. So I went outside and put some food on the grill, and it was great, but I couldn't get the dog out of my house. He didn't want to leave! I really think he liked me more than his owner! I seriously doubt if his owner fed him ribeye (which is about $14 per pound on Guam)! I'm not rich, I just love animals that much (the ones I don't eat of course)! He didn't eat much anyway. Eventually, after leaving him alone (because I couldn't find him in the house), he came out after an hour or so and went home across the neighborhood.
The little dog frequently returned
week after week. He eventually started putting his head under my hand for
neck messages, back rubs and ears scratches. Then he jumped up in my lap for
more attention. We were best buddies! Wow, my plan had worked. I turned this
bitter rival into my best friend, just by loving him. Albeit, I didn't want
him for a pet, or I could have simply closed the door and he would have been
glad to stay. Then one day he never returned, and that was the end of our
friendship. I don't know what happened to him. I won't have any pets, nor do
I want any, for two reasons. First, I don't want the responsibility to care
for them. Second, they break my heart when they die and worse, suddenly
vanish. This dog didn't hurt me though, because I knew all along that he
wasn't mine to keep, and I didn't really want him anyway. I just wanted him
to stop barking insanely at me every time I came out of my house. I enjoyed
the challenge of turning him from foe to friend.
An Important Spiritual Application Concerning Character Change
I
wrote this article for more purpose than to just share a silly true story
with you, but also to share an edifying thought I had today about it. The
same process by which I turned this dog from a bitter rival into my best
friend, holds true for many similar things in life. For example: Many
Christians who once attended church and lived faithfully for the Lord,
eventually drifted so far into sin, and away from the things of God, that
they either ended up in prison or dead! How does that happen? It happens the
same way I converted this dog's behavior, a little bit at a time, step by
step.
Dr. Bob Jones Sr. used to say, “Behind every tragedy in human character is a slow process of wicked thinking!” Yes Sir, that is so true! I recently watched a disturbing documentary on YouTube about Jeffrey Dahmer, who murdered 17 young gay men and dismembered their bodies. He even carried one of the victim's heads with him to work, in his plastic lunch container, to the chocolate factory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked. Creepy! Jeffrey said in a prison interview that before he ever murdered anyone, he used to fantasize about doing such evil things. It began IN HIS MIND! That is why the Holy Bible says in Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Big things always begin with little things. When I started my website, I just made one page, and it grew (like the mysterious growing mansion in the 2002 Stephen King horror series “Rose Red”). My website has grown enormously over the past 17 years, praise God! But that is what I wanted. My intention was to make a website so big, that web visitors could spend months looking through it and still not have exhausted all the truth. By God's grace I have seven websites! That makes it more interesting to visitors, and there is no end to the helpful information. It is a unique thing, I think. All I have ever wanted to do is help people for the Lord, without expecting nor receiving anything in return. I thank God for accomplishing that through my life.
The experience I had with that little black dog, to me, is a perfect example of how people can be changed for better or worse over time. Satan would like to change everything and everyone to become evil! The nails in our nation's coffin happened in 1963, when six ungodly judges (4 of whom were Freemasons) voted to remove and ban the Holy Bible from every public classroom! Should it be surprising that crime is out of control today? What do you expect from the ungodly?
One lustful young man in Indiana, knocked on a neighborhood door with intentions of raping a 24 year old mother. He couldn't follow through with it, but had proceeded far enough that he knew she would call the police and he would go to prison, so he took a kitchen knife and slit her throat. He then slit her 4-year-old daughter's throat too, murdering both of them, thinking this would protect him from getting caught. He got caught! That wicked man is on death row in Indiana! These type of horrifying crimes are becoming commonplace all across the country, because young people have no moral compass anymore, no moral restraint, no fear of God (all of which come from hearing the Holy Bible according to Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”). Young people need to HEAR the Word of God, the beloved and inspired King James Bible!
No one suddenly decides to become a criminal! There is ALWAYS a slow process of wrong thinking that leads up to that moment. This is why it is so important to control your thinking. The Bible says in 2nd Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” I love that Scriptures! That one Bible verse gives us the key to living the Christian life. We need to continually humble our self, submitting our thoughts to conform with the Word of God. I often disagree with God, but I ALWAYS submit to Him. I don't think anyone should burn in Hell forever, but that is what the Bible teaches in Revelation 20:15. I don't like that God usually ignores our prayers, to test our faith, but that is how He does it according to Luke 18:1-8. The Christian life is frustrating!
Every time another crime is
committed, foolish American citizens cry out to legislatures for more laws
and lengthier prison sentences, but the horrifying crimes only get worse!
The answer is the Holy Bible! Locking someone in prison merely incarcerates
evil for a period of time, but it doesn't change anything! People need the
precious Lord Jesus Christ!
The Importance Of Biblical Separation
My
point in this article is to emphasize the importance of addressing little
things, while they are still small, before they grow into a bigger problem.
Churches don't just die overnight, it happens over time. Dr. Jack Hyles
never could have envisioned that just 7 years after he went to Heaven in
2001, First Baptist Church of Hammond (FBCH) would deny the inspiration of
the King James Bible in 2008. It is a VERY big deal, because the premise
upon which hundreds of English Bible versions exist today is that we do not
have an inspired Bible today!
Check this out, what modern Bible publishers have done to pervert Psalms
12:6-7 to justify their lies! The Word of God is under attack. Long ago
the battle was over which Bible, but today the battle is over the
inspiration of the Bible itself! You show me somebody who makes light of the
debate over Bible inspiration, and I'll show you someone who is given to
change; it's just a matter of time! It may take 20 to 30 years, but the
church or Bible college that tolerates the ever-changing Bible corrupting
movement is headed for spiritual destruction!

America's churches are changing quickly, and it's for worse not better! The Lord foretold that in the end times we would see woeful apostasy, as it was in the time of Noah. Matthew 24:37-39, “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” I've never seen so much crime and heartache as in America today!
Little things affect big things. We've got a bunch of homosexuals and transgenders running around, because we no longer have any righteous leaders to stop this garbage! Our leaders are cowards and ungodly people! I am listening right now to a needful two-part sermon by my dear friend Pastor Max Younce, Creation And Homosexuality | Part 2. Praise God for this dear man of God!!! We need VOICES in America! If we don't stand up as God-fearing Christians, than no one else is going to do it!
I am tired of hearing foolish pastors say that it is none of our business what other churches are teaching. Dear reader, Bible doctrine is everyone's business! Titus 1:10-13, “For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.” The “circumcision” is equivalent to those who teach the lie of Lordship Salvation today, because they are ADDING works (human effort) to the Gospel (which is by faith alone).
There are “many unruly and vain
talkers and deceivers” still today, and in every generation, who pervert
the Gospel. The Word of God commands to, “rebuke them sharply, that they
may be sound in the faith.” Most pastors and church congregations
nowadays are too sinfully proud, arrogant and set in their lukewarm ways to
care about THE TRUTH. Instead, they follow whatever is on the internet. They
foolishly follow John MacArthur, Paul Washer and Ray Comfort, who all
pervert the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). It is every believer's duty,
particularly saved men, to guard against heresy creeping into the churches.
Always Have A Pure Heart
Big
things always begin with little things. Nearly
everyone in prison testifies that their downward path in life began as
something very small and seemingly innocent.
Man On Death Row Says Murdering
A Police Officer Began With Stealing Cookies As A 7 Year Old Boy. That
man even laughed in court when the judge sentenced him to death row, which
is mentioned in the preceding video link about Indiana's State Prison. How
does a human heart become so calloused and cruel? The answer is a little at
a time!
Proverbs 15:26, “The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.
Proverbs 20:11, “Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.”
Proverbs 21:8, “The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.”
Proverbs 22:11, “He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.”
Proverbs 30:5, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
I am not perfect; I am a sinner; I have my faults, but you won't find a more sincere man. My sole claim to righteousness is only that of the precious Lord Jesus Christ, through the precious blood that He shed and sprinkled on the heavenly Mercy Seat (Hebrews 9:12, 24;12:24; 1st Peter 1:18-19; Revelation 1:5). Thank God for the blood of the Lamb!!! Anything good about me is Jesus in me. Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” That is a favorite Bible verse of many believers, including myself! If you are a redeemed child of God, that is, a born-again believer, then you have Christ living inside you in the form of the blessed Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9; 1st Corinthians 3:16-17; 1st John 3:24). What a privilege!!!
Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” The Bible has much to say about pureness of heart. Many people are rotting in prison for associating with other people who committed crimes. 1st Timothy 5:22, “Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.” Every Christian should absolutely avoid any association with people who are deliberately doing something sinful or illegal. Stay away from people who are using illegal drugs! There are millions of Americans rotting in prison today for drug offenses! Most violent crimes committed today are related to illegal drugs!
I heard about a man in Indiana who was a convicted felon. As a felon he couldn't buy a gun. A beautiful woman with 5 years of college met him, and got involved with him, becoming his girlfriend. So at his request she went and bought him a gun. He went and murdered two people (drug dealers) with that gun. She was convicted of double homicide, as an accomplice, and sentenced to 110 years in prison! Such a waste! All for some bum! If she had been careful who she associated with, she would still be free. Stay away from people with dark minds! I won't associate with booze drinkers! I won't associate with anyway who thinks or talks about doing evil. This is Biblical. Psalms 1:1 commands us not to walk in the way of sinners! Psalms 1:1, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” Proverbs 1:10, “My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.” Oh, how everyone needs the wisdom, good sense and moral integrity, which can only come from hearing and taking heed to the Holy Bible.
I want to reiterate that wonderful Scripture in Psalms 1:1, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”
This one Scripture can transform your entire life! Let's break it down, shall we:

walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly — We are surrounded by ungodly counsel everywhere in society today! Be careful about taking advice from ungodly co-workers at the job, or a shrink (psychiatrist), who may counsel you to do something very foolish. Don't take advice from an ungodly lawyer who tells you to “strike first” against your spouse, by being the first to file for divorce. That is a cruel thing to do to anyone. Please don't do it, That is ungodly counsel! As Christians we ought never seek counsel from unregenerate people, who lack God's wisdom and don't have the mind of Christ.

nor standeth in the way of sinners — The heathen world have their own way of doing things, and as Christians we mustn't go along with it. I don't want to stand in the way (or in the same path) of sinful men. The world places emphasis on material value, the love of money, and physical beauty, above all else. We read in the Scriptures that the trial of our faith is more precious than gold that perisheth (1st Peter 1:7). Literally, God esteems our suffering and struggle as believers, as being more valuable than all the wealth on the world. Pain helps us grow, but money corrupts us!

nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful — The Devil is called “the accuser of the brethren” in Revelation 12:10. One of the major characteristics of a child of the Devil (an unsaved person), is a critical spirit toward others. The ungodly newsmedia are evil manure-spreaders, destroying everything in their path for the love of money. In the eyes of the heathen world, a Christ-honoring Christian can do no right (John 15:19).
So now let's look at what America has deteriorated into today without the Holy Bible! Everywhere we turn we are bombarded with ungodly advice. We are surrounded by the way of the heathen. We live in a horrible culture of pointing fingers, gossip, blame and hatred against God. These are all the consequence of a people without God, and things WILL only get much worse over time! The United States is going to wax so evil and bad, that God in His wrath is going to destroy her with fire on just one hour! There is no other nation in existence, that qualifies to fit the description of Revelation chapter 18, than America today! I am completely convinced that a nuclear attack on America is coming, in which the infrastructure will be immediately destroyed, so that the trucks and trains will stop rolling, which will cut off all food and desperately needed supplies in every major city. Famine and death will happen almost immediately. No doubt millions of people will instantly be killed in the one hour of fire! I cannot say conclusively that it will be a nuclear attack, but I see no other plausible explanation, unless God decides to reign down fire and brimstone upon this wicked Sodomite nation!
Substance abuse is epidemic across America, and it all began with the music industry, who became idols to America' youth in the 1960's until today—The Beatles, The Eagles, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, The Beach Boys, Styx, Van Halen, Journey, Metallica, The Grateful Dead, you name it!—they were all doing drugs, engaging in immoral sex and rock music! LSD was actually legal in the 1960's, and it was very popular in California. So many ungodly youth today idolize the debauchery of the hippy movement of the 1960's in California, but it was a time of woeful shame and liberal heathendom (which formed the foundation for legalized astrology, homosexuality, whacko environmental laws and everything unholy today in California). The consequence is the epidemic drug problem in the United States today. The Grateful Dead used to distribute free marijuana to fans at their concerts. Shameful Vice President Al Gore, even put The Grateful Dead on the U.S. government's payroll! Granted, Jerry Garcia, who tragically died of a heart attack during heroine addiction treatment, was a brilliant musician. Fans of The Grateful Dead used to show up just to hear Jerry as a solo act play his guitar.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is pure. 1st John 3:3, “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” God wants us to purify our self. Every Christian ought to pursue pureness in doctrine, pureness in morality, and pureness in relationships. James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” Everyone is continually changing for the better or for the worse! We're either growing in our Christian faith, or lagging behind, moving the wrong way. I want to grow in the Lord. Proverbs 4:18, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” A Christian believer ought to learn from past mistakes, and become more Christlike as time passes. Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before!
There was a horrible man, a deacon in a Methodist church for over 20 years, who kidnapped, raped and murdered three woman in Kansas City decades ago. He was known as the BTK Killer (Bind Torture Kill). That just goes to prove that attending church faithfully doesn't ensure that a person will be spiritually minded in the Lord. The strange thing about this case was that after the man committed the brutal murders, he never got caught, and for the next 20 years was a faithful deacon in a local Methodist church. Twenty years later he decided to taunt the local police, bragging of his crimes, and teasing them that they couldn't catch him. Well, they caught him this time, because he used the church's ink-jet printer to type his foolish letters to the police. What he didn't know is that most ink-jet printers today place an invisible code on every paper it prints, so police can trace it. The police traced that invisible code to the store, and the credit card that purchased the printer, and eventually to the deacon!
Dear reader, you can go to church every Sunday, even be a deacon or the pastor himself, and be as wicked as a demon! A person's level of goodness and spiritual maturity in Christ will be determined by the pureness of that person's heart, how real Christianity is to them personally, and how much they genuinely fear God and want to please Him! That is something that no one except God and the individual person can truly know 100%! There are many clever deceivers in the churches today.
It all comes down to a person's true character. Two people can attend a church and look exactly the same outwardly, but they can be a world apart inwardly in character. That is why I teach my web visitors not to rely upon going to church to make you spiritual, because you need a close personal walk with God at home. The purpose of going to church is for fellowship with other believers, to gain comfort to handle your problems, to have an opportunity to partake in organized soulwinning, to hear the Word of God preached, to receive help from your spiritual family when you need it, and to support the sending out of missionaries into the world with the Gospel. We don't go to church to worship or walk with God. Church is not a place for entertainment. If you attend a church that claps hands for special music, that is not a good thing! People should be taught to say, “Amen!,” not cheer for the entertainer.
God loves a person with a pure
heart, not double-minded, going through the motions each Sunday. I'm tired
of the shallow Bible college crowd, who go through all the motions, but it
doesn't matter to them which Bible version people use. It matters!
America's Churches Are Slowly Deteriorating And Dying
Another
spiritual application is the apostasy in the churches and Bible colleges
today. Once truly fundamental Bible colleges (like Bob Jones University),
and fundamental Bible churches (like Moody Memorial Church in Chicago), are
now haven's for worldliness, counterfeit Bible versions, and false prophets!
Moody publishes Dr. John MacArthur's heretical books, which deny that Jesus'
blood is applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven, and teach the Satanic heresy
of Calvinism (of which Mr. MacArthur boasts he is a 5-point adherent). When
Pastor Dwight Moody (1837-1899) was there, things were very different! When
Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951) was there, things were very different!
Dr. Ironside strongly refuted the false idea that a person must turn
away from sinful behavior, amend their ways, forsake the world, surrender
all to Christ, change their life, or forsake sin, to be saved. I love Dr.
Ironside's doctrinal soundness and fully agree with him!
Revelation 3:2, “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.”
I behooves me how Moody Bible Institute went from the rock solid fundamental Bible teachings of Dr. Harry Ironside, to promoting, honoring and publishing the books of a demonic religious salesmen like Pastor John MacArthur, who foolishly says:
Don’t believe anyone who says it’s easy to become a Christian. Salvation for sinners cost God His own Son; it cost God’s Son His life, and it’ll cost you the same thing. Salvation isn’t gained by reciting mere words. Saving faith transforms the heart, and that in turn transforms behavior. Faith’s fruit is seen in actions, not intentions. There’s no room for passive spectators: words without actions are empty and futile. Remember that what John saw in his vision of judgment was a Book of Life, not a book of Words or Book of Intellectual Musings. The life we live, not the words we speak, reveals whether our faith is authentic. [emphasis added]

Just like that little black dog went from being foe to friend in a couple months, so are churches today turning from friend to foe of the Lord. No church is a friend of God that promotes John MacArthur, whose false plan of salvation requires partial faith in Christ, plus human effort to be saved! No church is a friend of God that uses, sells and promotes corruptible seed! The modern Bible versions are corrupt! They attack the deity of Jesus! They remove the Godhead! They remove every mention of anyone worshipping the Lord! Some of them remove the virgin birth! Others remove the sole mention of the name of Lucifer from the Scriptures!
As Dr. Gail Riplinger warns in her MP3 interview,
New Age Bible Versions, “They are secularizing the Bible!”
And they sure are! Satan has watered-down the inspired words of God, to the
point where no one knows what is true anymore. People in the churches are as
confused as ever! This Bible, that Bible, dozens and dozens of versions,
which one is the right one? Which Bible can we trust? Since they don't all
say the same thing, they cannot all be correct! So which Bible can we rely
upon? Which version is truly the “Holy Bible”?
Bob Jones
University says it doesn't matter. They just say there couldn't possible
be only one English Bible. Why not? I mean, after all, God did only author
ONE BOOK, did He not? BJU doesn't make any sense. The Bob Jones crowd don't
care! Oh that professed Christians cared about THE TRUTH! Oh that professed
Christians weren't indifferent toward the purity of God's Word. Oh that
today's professed Christians weren't disinterested in the accuracy of the
Gospel.
The Satanic Conspiracy To Destroy the United States
In
Bible prophecy Russia is mentioned, but not the United States. I am fully
convinced that Revelation 18 is the United States, the wicked nation that
goes up in flames in just ONE HOUR. I am convinced this refers to nuclear
war, which is the only way a nation could be totally destroyed, sent back to
the medieval period in ONE DAY!
If The United States Goes To
All Our Nuclear War With Russia, We Won't Win! Revelation 18:8 and
19, “Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death,
and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire:
for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. ...And they cast dust on their
heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city,
wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her
costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.”
America deserves God's fierce judgment!!!
