Lord Willing, I'm Moving Soon To Pensacola, Florida

By David J. Stewart | October 2018

Proverb:3:5-7, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”

God willing, I will be moving soon to Pensacola, Florida. My daughter helped me pack everything up in August before she moved to Pensacola. The only thing that has been holding me back is my medical approval. As soon as that is cleared up, Lord willing, I'll be moving. I've lived on Guam for 14 years. I haven't been able to find a church family, which has been very difficult for me emotionally. Everyone needs a church family. The only thing that keeps me going is God's love, the blessed indwelling Holy Spirit, and online Bible preaching (which I share with my web visitors daily). I labor seven days and nights a week on my ministry for Jesus. I am blessed by God. Pastor Jeff Owens is absolutely right, who said in his awesome sermon, “Fearing His Goodness In The Latter Days,” that if you are not burning in Hell, God has been good to you!

I have been very transparent over the years with my web visitors. I've had five surgeries over the past two decades (1999, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2015), and God has saw me through them all. I have been open about my unwanted divorce in 2006. Lord willing, I'll find a faithful helpmeet in Florida. I don't know what the future holds, but I know God is with me. Brother Hyles has a helpful Bible study called, “The Way The Apostle Paul Found The Will of God.” Of the 68 times Paul changed his location in the book of Acts, 51 of those times he had to decide for himself. That is my situation. I have prayed for several years for the Lord's hand to work in my life. It is not for me to judge how God answers my prayers. Albeit, I do know it is not God's will for me not to have a church family! Dr. Hyles says if you cannot find a good church to “MOVE,” and so I am. We can only live our life the way God gives it to us, which is one day at a time.

As much as I am looking forward to moving, I am not physically up to it. There is a lot required. Albeit, if I don't move now I never will. I am so thankful to God for all His blessings in my life, and I have no complaints. I would do many things differently in my life, if I could live it over again, but I cannot. As they say, hindsight is always 20/20. We cannot live in a world of, “I should of ____, I could of ____, I would of ____.” My life has drifted sideways ever since my wife divorced me in 2006. I have been very lonely for the past 12 years. God's presence is the joy of my life. Psalms 16:11, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Still, I am tired. I have lost interest in my music lately. I need a change in my life, or nothing will change. So please pray for me, that God will give me the strength that I need to move. Psalms 90:9b and 12, “...we spend our years as a tale that is told. ... So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

I love you all in the Lord, whoever you may be. I do what I do online freely out of a sincere love for God, others and the truth. To God be the glory, great things He hath done!

When Baptists Are No Longer Baptists

Today's professed Christians just don't care. Guam's Baptist churches are a joke! The common denominator are today's ungodly Bible colleges [e.g., Bob Jones University, Ambassador Bible College (Dr. Ron Comfort), Faith Baptist Bible College And Theological Seminary, and Pensacola Christian College], who don't believe that the King James Bible is inspired. The graduates of these corrupt religious institutions are okay with the heresy of “turning from sins” to be saved. They are woefully indifferent and complacent. Like John the Baptist, I refuse to go along to get along with their apostasy! I am outside the gate with Jesus!!!

One shameful Baptist pastor on Guam, accused me last year of operating my website ministry outside of the authority of the local New Testament church. Ironically, that same immature pastor (whom I have been praying for) is also leaving in November for Pensacola, to teach at Pensacola Christian College (PCC). Well, PCC is a private organization which operates OUTSIDE OF THE LOCAL CHURCH. So he's as guilty as I am then. What a hypocrite! PCC is not under the umbrella of any local church, as is Hyles-Anderson College (HAC). HAC is Biblical, a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Hammond. Pensacola Christian College, like Faith Baptist College And Theological Seminary in Iowa, and Bob Jones University, are private businesses! They are not associated with a local church. As I often say, and is stated in the “About” section of my website, my ministry is not intended to substitute for local New Testament churches. I was saved, trained and ordained as a minister of the Gospel in a local New Testament church!!! My ministry exists to help the churches! 3rd John 1:8, “We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.” Unlike PCC, BJU and FBBCTS, I've never made a single penny for my diligent labors for Christ! America is going to Hell because of indifferent pastors and the lifeless churches that hire them!

America's Condition And How It Got This Way! (Pastor Steven L. Anderson)

Sadly, many of today's Baptist pastors are deceivers! I said DECEIVERS! When a Baptist in these apostate times talks about “fundamentalism,” they deceitfully mean promoting Dr. John MacArthur's Lordship Salvation. That is not true fundamentalism! Mr. MacArthur is a devil-dog preacher!!!  When a Baptist in these apostate times talks about “fundamentalism,” they deceitfully mean promoting Satan's corrupt Alexandrian Bible versions. That is not true fundamentalism! Anyone who uses anything other than the King James Bible in the English language is not a fundamentalist! We've got a bunch of deceivers in our religious institutions, Bible colleges and churches!!!

My Neck Pain is a Constant Burden

I ask for your continued prayers for my on-going health problems. I feel overwhelmed lately. I am suffering much from bodily afflictions due to my radiculitis. It's difficult just to get by from day to day. I feel burning throughout my body's nerves. I thank God that I am still fully able to take care of myself, I simply have to cope with the irritation in my neck and nerves. It has ruined my life. It doesn't help when Christians are mean, snobbish and turn you away when you plead for their help. That is what we expect from the heathen world.

If I weren't a Christian, I'd have left this life long ago. The burning, tingling and puffiness in my arms and legs, neck pain that radiates into my facial area, side-effects of the medications, loneliness, et cetera; I am overwhelmed with all this. God's grace has led me this far, and grace will lead me home, but it's a hard road to travel. I am in torments. I need your prayers.

Here are some quotes to help put how I feel into perspective, stated by others...

“Currently there is no proven treatment to prevent or cure neuropathic pain (neuropathy or nerve pain). Instead, the primary goals of treatment are to reduce the pain as much as possible, balance the negative side effects of the treatment, and help patients manage any unresolved pain.

And also...

In severe cases, with chronic neck pain, the sufferer may also experience depression, mood swings (anger and anxiety), irritability, sleep disturbances, post-traumatic stress syndrome, and even drug dependency connected to the incident.

In the book PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY by Norman Latov, MD, PhD, he shares his own medical afflictions (neuropathy) with others to encourage them. ...

Functioning day to day is not easy. Living with neuropathy teaches you very quickly that you cannot take anything for granted. Just a few years ago, if someone had told me that walking up a flight of stairs could be agonizing and make me feel like I'd just climbed Mount Everest, I wouldn't have believed them. Let me tell you: I believe them now.

From the outside, you could never know anything is wrong. In fact, someone recently said how lucky I was that no one can tell I have this disease. Actually, it's a double-edge sword. I don't want people to think something is wrong with me. On the other hand, I often feel like I'm suffering in silence because no one understands what I'm living with. I try very hard to hide what I'm going through. ...

When you are diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, you constantly are confronted with what life was like “before” and “after.” “Before” meant living without having to think about every little thing you do. It meant walking down stairs without having your heart skip a beat as you fear you may tumble down instead of walk down. “Before” meant taking a step without having to take a step.

“After” means thinking before doing. When you wake up in the morning, you get out of bed, remembering to be careful not to lose your balance.

It seems like only a dream when I think back to a time in my life when I was pain-free and happy. I long for Christ's return and the redemption of my body, “even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body” (Romans 8:23).

Job 16:1, “Then Job answered and said, I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all. Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest? I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you. But I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.”

Until a person is afflicted with endless pain, they naturally can't relate to such suffering and can't possibly understand. They just can't. I know what's it's like to be outside on a beautiful day with the sun shining, and everybody is enjoying life and having a good time, but physical suffering within my body is afflicting me and it overshadows me.

Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” That is why this website is here, i.e., because God has done a work in my heart, to will and to do of His good pleasure. Amen and amen!

I am always sorry to learn of someone's pain and suffering. It is true that life is what happens to us while we're making big plans. Dr. Hyles is right, “Life is a vale of tears!” God uses my afflictions to humble me, and keep me close to Him, which is the silver lining of the cloud of despair. I consider myself fortunate, when I stop to remember a quadriplegic young man (Carlos) that we used to visit on our church bus route in Chicago, who was shot in the neck at age 19 by a rival street gang. The poor guy will never be able to put a spoon to his mouth, or walk in the park, or take care of himself, or have any kind of a meaningful life. It is horrifying! So I count my blessings again and again daily. Most of all, I praise God for the gift of eternal life through His dear Son, knowing that my name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Luke 10:20, “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” We all have so much to be thankful for to God.

I ask for your earnest prayers for this ministry and me daily. This ministry is much bigger than me, it's about the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE (John 14:6)! HEAR YE HIM! Literally, thousands of people are being saved through the humble influence of this ministry by the grace of God. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20).

I love you all in the Lord, whoever you may be!

“Nothing in my future can ever affect the salvation that I have... Once you trust the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are eternally secure!” —Pastor Hank Lindstrom (1940-2008), a quote from the classic MP3 sermon titled, “How Permanent Is Your Salvation?

“Salvation is based upon purely what Jesus Christ has done. And if you've trusted Jesus Christ here, you're saved forever! Nothing in your life, nothing in your death, angels, principalities, nothing—nothing in your future—could ever undo that relationship that has been made when you trusted Jesus Christ as Savior. And there are many people who are confused over this whole thing.”
—Pastor Hank Lindstrom (1940-2008), a quote from the classic MP3 sermon titled, “How Permanent Is Your Salvation?

“There are many people who name the name of Jesus Christ, who are not saved, because they're trusting in living the Christian life, or in their works, or in some efforts that they're doing, in order to obtain their salvation.”
—Pastor Hank Lindstrom (1940-2008), a quote from the classic MP3 sermon titled, “How Permanent Is Your Salvation?

Jeremiah 20:11, “But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.”

Scriptures by Dr. Gail Riplinger, showing, why some great men are deceived...

Hosea 7:13, “Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.”

Ecclesiastes 3:16-17, “And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.”

Job 32:4-9, “Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he. And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion. I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.”

Jeremiah 5:5, “I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.”

Always Have A Pure Heart...

I Peter 1:22, “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto
unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.”

“I can calculate the motion of heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people.” ―Isaac Newton, physicist

There are lots of preachers who don't know Jesus. They know about him, but they don't know him.
—Billy Sunday, “Critics and Criticism” (chapter 18), from his biography by William T. Ellis titled, “Billy Sunday: The Man And His Message.”

“Do you know the more righteous you try to live, the ungodly people are not impressed with it, don't care for it, and totally, truly, despise you for doing it! The more right you try to do, the more you're despised for doing so! There are people who want to justify sin in the world, and you and I that live right are a rebuke to them for such!” —Pastor Ralph "Yankee" Arnold, from the MP3 sermon, "As it Was So shall It Be."
