Galatians 3:1-3, “O foolish
Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before
whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This
only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by
the hearing of faith?”
When someone is asked to name a great preacher off the top of their mind, many
would immediately name Evangelist Billy Graham. Mr. Graham has that look!
Throughout his ministry Billy preached with a thunderous voice that captivated
his listeners. He had a wonderful smile, and a stern glare that intimidated
the toughest sinner. Graham appeared to be the best of the best amongst
preachers. But keep in mind what the Bible warns...
2nd Corinthians 11:13-14, “For
such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the
apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an
angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his
ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;
whose end shall be according to their works.”
Satan has his own ministers. They
don't usually appear as Anton LaVey's Church of Satan. The Devil is cunning
and shrewd, smarter than you or I. Satan knows that to trick people, that is,
deceive them into Hell, he must fabricate his lies as close to the truth as
possible, yet still not be wholly truth. Billy Graham mastered the art of
deception, which is easily exposed by the plain Word of God. Billy Graham is
the only preacher who has been awarded a star on the Hollywood actor's Walk
Of Fame. Now that is interesting. Why would Hollywood want to honor Billy
Graham with an actor's award? Could it be that Mr. Graham was one of the
world's biggest actors? You better believe that he was!
The New Testament Religious
Cult of Galatianism and Billy Graham
To understand why Evangelist Billy
Graham went to Hell, it is helpful to understand “Galatianism.” Galatianism is
the heresy which had crept into the church at Galatia (which is an area
located in the country of Turkey today), which added circumcision under the
law of Moses to faith in Jesus Christ to be saved. Partial faith in Christ
plus works is no faith at all.
Let me give you a helpful
illustration that I thought of while walking this morning. Let's say I hand
you $100 and ask you kindly to walk to the hardware store a few blocks away to
buy something. You agree. As you are walking you notice that I am following
you. So you stop and ask me why I am following you. I reply, “I am just making
sure that you do what I asked you to do.” You then reasonably ask, “Well,
don't you trust me?” I say, “Yes, of course I trust you, but I just want to
make sure that you do what I asked you to do.” You'd probably say something
like, “Well then maybe you should go get it yourself at the hardware store!”
But I insist, “No, I want you to go get this for me, but I am going to follow
you.” So you say, “Well then let's go together!” So I say, “No, I asked you to
go, not me, so you can go get it.” But then you turn around and see that I am
still following you.
Sound crazy? Ladies and gentleman,
that is no more absurd that Billy Graham's plan of salvation!!! No man is
truly trusting Christ who foolishly thinks that more is required for salvation
than simply believing the Gospel. Billy Graham believed and taught that
believing the Gospel is NOT enough to be saved (as I will show you in a
moment). The mindset of a truly born-again Christian is that JESUS PAID IT
ALL, period! I am going to Heaven because of what Jesus, the Christ, did
through the cross to pay for my sins. Jesus' precious blood is why I am saved.
That precious blood is sprinkled today on the Mercy Seat in Heaven (Hebrews
9:12, 24; 12:24). The life I live, or don't live, has absolutely NOTHING to do
with my salvation. There is nothing to validate, prove, verify or complete
concerning my eternal life, which is my eternal security. These blessed
doctrines are one and the same!
Here are the heretical words of
Billy Graham from his website. This is a false gospel which cannot produce the
new birth...
How To Be Sure You're
Saved
First, you must
recognize your need.
Second, you must
understand the cross.
Third, you must count
the cost.
He also said, “Which
of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count
the cost? … So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has
cannot be My disciple” (Luke 14:28, 33).
Many people come to Christ without first counting the cost. The cost
includes repentance, the forsaking of sin, and a continual, daily, open
acknowledgment of Christ in your life.
Fourth, you must take a
definite step.
One day at Stanford
University, a student of a non-Christian faith came to me and said he
was convinced that Jesus is the Son of God but said he couldn’t confess
Him publicly. He said that back in his own country the cost socially
would be too great.
I had to tell him that the Bible says: “Whoever confesses Me before men,
him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever
denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in
heaven” (Matthew 10:32-33).
Like the rich young
ruler of old, the student went away sad. He had counted the cost and was
not able to pay the price of open acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as his
Savior.
We ask people to make a public confession of Christ in our meetings
because Christ demanded a definite commitment. Christ had reasons for
demanding that people openly follow Him. He knew that an unwitnessed vow
is no vow at all. Until you have surrendered to Christ by a definite act
of your will, you are not a Christian.

Billy goes horribly wrong on step
three, when he requires people to “COUNT THE COST” to be saved...

Notice carefully that Luke 14:33
plainly uses the word “disciple.” Mr. Graham fails to differentiate between
being an adopted son of God (John 1:12; Romans 8:15), verses becoming a
disciple (Romans 12:1). Graham demands that people COUNT THE COST, which is
totally unbiblical. Graham requires sinners to PAY THE PRICE, which is totally
unbiblical. He demands that people PAY THE PRICE of forsaking sin. He demands
that people PAY THE PRICE of continually and daily openly confessing Christ in
their life. Judas did this! Judas followed Christ, becoming one of Jesus' very
apostles!!! Judas made a vow to follow Christ, but is sadly in Hell forever!!!
If I haven't convinced you yet that
Billy Graham is burning in Hell, please consider the following...

Did Christ really demand a public
commitment to have eternal life? No, He did not!
Ladies and gentlemen, I triple-dog
dare you to show me anywhere in the Holy Bible where making a commitment is
required to be saved. We read in John 12:42-43, “Nevertheless among the
chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the
Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of
the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.”
The Bible passage I just quoted to you exposes Billy Graham as a liar,
deceiver and false prophet! Many of the chief rulers “BELIEVED ON HIM” (Jesus
Christ) and were immediately saved. All they did is “believe” to be saved!
They “DID NOT CONFESS HIM,” because they were afraid of rejection by the
corrupt self-righteous Pharisees. The Bible says those chief rulers got saved,
but loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Clearly, they hadn't
surrender to Christ's Lordship yet, and they didn't make a vow, nor did they
decide to follow Jesus, they simply and only BELIEVED on Him and were
born-again!!!
The Simplicity That is in
Jesus Christ
My
friend, please read the simple and plain words of the Word of God...
John
20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his
name.”
Oh listen to me carefully my dear
friend, and I am being your friend, examine the preceding Scripture. LOOK AT
IT! This is the “SIMPLICITY” that is in Christ. ...
2nd Corinthians 11:3-4, “But I
fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so
your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is
in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we
have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not
received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear
with him.”
We are saved by believing. But what
about repentance? Repentance is included in believing! No one has ever
believed who didn't repent, for repentance is simply a change of mind
from wrong thinking to believing the Gospel. Proof of what I say is the fact
that the word “repent” is not mentioned even once in the Gospel of John!!! If
a person didn't repent (think differently) they wouldn't be willing to believe
to be saved. So you don't even have to mention repentance when witnessing to
someone, just as John doesn't mention it. And for that matter, neither does
John mention “repentance” even once in the Epistles of first, second and third
John. Yet, John said the very reason for the Epistle of 1st John was so that
professed Christians could “KNOW” they are saved (1st John 5:13). I want you
to see dear reader that getting saved is ease, free, permanent and simple!
Billy Graham Preaches the
Complication That is in Satan
In
sharp contrast to the simplicity that is in Christ (which is the Gospel),
Billy Graham's plan of salvation is much more difficult, which requires
counting the cost and paying a high price. You must, according to Billy,
forsake your sins, and that is something which is very hard to do. In fact, it
is impossible! Who can forsake their sins? This was Paul's whole point in
Romans chapter two. Paul said in Romans 2:13, “For not the hearers of the
law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.”
That is, if you want to get to Heaven by keeping the law, then you must keep
it perfectly. You cannot fail here and there and get it half right. Paul knew
that the Jews were trying to merit Heaven. It was their Judaism religion,
which was centered around ceremonial laws (e.g., circumcision and the Sabbath
Day) and keeping the law. But they were filled with adulterous thoughts,
hatred for others, covetous and saturated with sin. Paul tells them that hearing the law
doesn't make a man righteous in God's eyes, they must actually obey the law
perfectly, and they weren't doing it!
In Romans chapter three, Paul spends
the entire chapter detailing how sinful and corrupt the human race is,
summarizing his indictment of man in Romans 3:20, “Therefore by the
deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the
law is the knowledge of sin.” Paul is now teaching them the true purpose
of God's law, which is to give all men the KNOWLEDGE that we are guilty
sinners. Like the self-righteous Jews to whom Paul was addressing, Billy
Graham completely fails to grasp the purpose of the law, for if he did
understand its purpose, he wouldn't require people to forsake their sins to be
saved, which effectively is the same as keeping the law. It is clear to me
that Billy Graham was blinded by his own greatness (i.e., in man's eyes).
But you say, surely Billy Graham
must be in Heaven! A Christian lady recently said to me, that she has heard
countless testimonies from people online, who said they were influenced and
saved as a direct result of Billy Graham's preaching. May I say, I do not
doubt that some people were led to God through Mr. Graham's influence, and at
some point heard the Gospel from some other source and got saved. However,
they didn't get the Gospel from Billy Graham, as I just evidenced to you. I
have received testimonies from people who were drawn to a religious rock
concert, or some ecumenical religious group, as their first step toward the
light. But then over time they realized that something was wrong and they
sought truth elsewhere, eventually finding their way to a good old-fashioned,
Bible-believing, New Testament church. So, an unsaved person may feel drawn to
a dynamic public figure like Billy Graham or John Hagee; or a fashionable
person like Joel Osteen; or a persuasive man like Pat Robertson. But this does
NOT necessarily mean these men are true men of God. In fact, all of these men
preach a corrupted plan of salvation that includes works.
It is the same case with the modern
Bible versions. I have heard some preachers claim that they were saved from a
New International Version (NIV). No, you weren't. The truth is that many of
the churches that use the modern corrupted seed, also use the incorruptible
seed of the King James Bible (1st Peter 1:23), and so the truth is there
mingled amongst lies! In such churches, as would be suspected, some people are
saved and most others aren't saved. Those pastors will have blood on their
hands for all the souls that spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, because they
were deceived and misled by Satan's corruptible seed. Satan knows that he
cannot completely get rid of the truth, so he does the next best thing, which
is to obscure the truth in confusion. Satan publishes hundreds of English
Bible versions to confuse everybody. The churches are confused today. People
are confused on what it means to repent. They are confused on how to be saved.
They are unsure about what God requires of them to be saved and stay saved. We
know that once a person is saved, he is permanently saved and nothing else is
required. Once a child of God, always a child of God!!!
I triple-dog dare you (and that's a
serious dare!) to show me anywhere in the Holy Scriptures where following
Christ is required to have eternal life. I triple-dog dare you to show me
anywhere in the Word of God where it says to make a “vow” in order to be
born-again. What is Billy Graham teaching: commitments, vows, following,
surrendering to Christ? These are not the Good News (i.e., Gospel) of
Christ's death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection, by which we are
saved through faith (1st Corinthians 15:1-6; Romans 1:16). I triple-dog dare
you to show me anywhere from the Gospel of John, God's Gospel tract (John
20:31), where it mentions anything about making a vow, following,
surrendering, or committing yourself to God to be saved!!! No, rather, we are
taught to simply BELIEVE (trust) upon the name of Jesus. John 20:31, “But
these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of
God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
Believers Are Redeemed from
the Law, Not Expected to Forsake Sin to Be Saved
There are many false prophets today
who are teaching that to be saved, a person must forsake their sinful bad
habits. This heresy is commonly termed, “Lordship Salvation.” Folks, that is
keeping the law! Billy Graham says:

That is preservation by
perseverance! This is “Calvinism” (i.e., the false teachings of a man named
John Calvin, 1509-1964). The tenets of Calvinism are often taught in
5-points.
The fifth point is called, “The Perseverance of the Saints.” That is,
Calvinism teaches that if a person is really saved, they WILL persevere in
holy living and continuous repenting (forsaking) from sins. So if a professed
Christian is living in open sin, Calvinists claim they are not saved.
Evangelist Paul Washer is a popular Calvinist preacher, a graduate of
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (a Calvinist institution). And
sadly, so also was Billy Graham a Calvinist in his views on salvation,
although he may not have been a 5-point Calvinist.[1]
Graham clearly believes (from examining his previous quote) that part of the
COST to a person to be saved, is to forsake sin and continually acknowledge
Christ openly in your life. Folks, that is horrible doctrine! How can a person
ever have the 100% assurance of salvation if you have to “continually” do
anything?
In Galatians 3:1, the
apostle Paul called the churchgoers at Galatia “bewitched,” because they were
trusting also in the works of the law to be saved. A dangerous religious cult
had infiltrated the church at Galatia, teaching the people that “believing”
the Gospel wasn't enough to be saved. This is much like the John MacArthur
Lordship Salvation cult, which has infiltrated the Bob Jones camp...
Galatians 6:12-14, “As many as
desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you
to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the
cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law;
but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God
forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”
Let
me explain the preceding passage. In the Old Testament, God gave His law to
men as a perfect standard, telling them to keep it perfectly to be saved. They
failed utterly, which God already knew would happen. God had given man the law
as a measuring stick, which according to Romans 3:19 was for the purpose of
silencing all men from self-righteous boasting, so that we would all become
guilty sinners before a holy God. That is, that we will come to realize what
God already knows. And then, once we see our self as a guilty sinner, the law
brings us to Jesus Christ to be saved by God's grace through faith (Galatians
3:24-26).
Most of the Jews missed the point,
still stuck on the idea that if they kept the law perfectly they could enter
into the Kingdom of God. Many of the New Testament Jews were proud,
particularly the religious cult of the Pharisees, who boasted of their own
goodness, trying to keep the law to be saved. So when some born-again
Christians came along, teaching a form of salvation apart from keeping the law
(which meant that physical
circumcision was not
necessary), it made the Jewish cult at Galatia look bad. So if the cult could
recruit the church at Galatia, it would add prestige to their group, allowing
them to glory in the flesh. The apostle Paul wrote the Epistle of Galatians to
rebuke, teach and warn the church at Galatia what was going on, because they
evidently couldn't see the forest for the trees. Paul said he is only going to
glory in the cross of Jesus Christ!!!
One of the greatest evils I see
today are compromised Baptist pastors, who support Calvinist churches down the
street. The lines of separation are being blurred between Bible-believing
Christians are Calvinists. Bob Jones University is a big part of the problem,
since they are not separated from Calvinists. The modern Bible versions are
all infected with Calvinist doctrine,
redefining
repentance to mean a changed life to be saved. Satan is laughing at the
stupid churches! Is your pastor and church stupid? It is if you use the
Alexandrian Bible perversions! And your pastor is a loser if he supports other
“sister churches” who use the corrupt Bible versions, even though he himself
may not. We are at spiritual war folks! The average pastor is a disgrace and a
spiritual criminal!!!
Billy Graham is burning in Hell
forever, with his faith plus works false plan of salvation. The religious
people in Matthew 7:21-23 were as dedicated to serving the Lord Jesus Christ
as can be! They followed Jesus. They confessed Jesus openly in public. They
turned away from some of their sins and did “many wonderful works” instead.
They made vows to commit their lives to confess, follow and surrender all to
God. But Jesus called them “ye that work iniquity” and today they are
burning in the fires of Hell for ever and ever with Billy Graham!!! People
write to me regularly, asking where they can find a decent pastor. I tell
them, Good luck! A man that can lead a church is not a good pastor! A man who
can lead a church and PREACHES THE TRUTH is a good pastor!
