“Sports Illustrated” is Sinful

All across the world, Sports Illustrated magazine is bought and read by men, even sinfully by many professed “Christian” men. Now, I'm not against sports; BUT, Sports Illustrated is nothing less than soft pornography ... which is still pornography. It is sinful for any man to look at Sports Illustrated. The magazine ought to be renamed to 'Whores Illustrated.'

Back yonder decades ago the publication was hurting for subscriptions and some heathen magazine editor suggested that they takes pictures of women with their clothes off, posing in promiscuous and luring positions and settings. They might as well be honest and name their magazine, Lasciviousness Illustrated. Lasciviousness is immoral sexual desire.

1st Timothy 2:9 commands Christian women to be ladies, dress like ladies and act like ladies. Sinful men are going to lust regardless of how a woman dresses, but those women who purposely and carelessly dress immodestly are encouraging the sin of lust, and giving lustful men and women something obvious to lust upon. There are sinful lesbians everywhere today, who view female pornography as much as sinful men. Pornography, public nudity, lewdness, and immodesty are epidemic in the world today because of portable technology. People are increasingly downloading pornography to their i-pods and cellphones. It is of the Devil. The world today has become a giant strip show.

When Sports Illustrated decided to feature immodest, lewd, and impudent women, their profits soared and have continued. Sex sells! Truly the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil as 1st Timothy 6:10 warns in the Bible. Sports Illustrated is immoral, of the Devil, and an embarrassment to every decent and God-fearing American citizen.

THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE THEIR EYES (Romans 3:18) at Sports Illustrated, for only hard-hearted sinners would sexually exploit womanhood to make money. May I say, it is ill-gotten money (what the Bible calls, “filthy lucre”). Matthew 6:24, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” The word “mammon” comes directly from the Greek word mammonas, meaning “wealth.” The Bible teaches that wealth and serving God are diametrically opposed to each other. You CANNOT serve them both! You will love one, and hate the other.

Sadly, many Christians today are living a lie, kidding themselves that they are still serving God, when in reality they have sold out to the almighty dollar! Increasingly we see so-called Christian organizations which sell magazines, books, subscriptions and publications featuring psychology, beauty and diet as primary topics. It's the love of money! The Doctrine of Christ has been abandoned by most professed Christians these days.

The Bible commands women to dress themselves in MODEST (Greek: of good behavior) clothing. The type of clothing that a woman wears speaks much about her moral character and attitude toward womanhood. A woman who strips down naked for the camera disrespects all women by cheapening herself. Virtue is more valuable than rubies the Bible says...

Every woman must choose between virtue and rubies. Take your pick! Do you want the virtue of MOTHERHOOD, or the rubies that a CAREER will bring instead. A Career has no place for genuine motherhood.

The Bible commands us to seek after WISDOM above all else, which begins with the fear of the Lord...

The word “lady” has become a novelty in today's lewd, rude and crude world. Asian women are notoriously whorish and dress whorishly. They are degraded down to the level of animals in their cultures, being slaved out as comfort girls for money or for a place to live and some food. Most young women, and older as well, do it voluntarily because the alternative is to work for pennies a day in a sweat shop factory under high-pressure, fast-pace, dangerous workings conditions. The temptation to make a lot of money fast by having sex is why the criminal syndicate worldwide is involved. The Philippines have been referred to as “The Devil's Playground” because of all the prevalent sexual sins. This includes Costa Rica and most third world nations. Sadly, American military men are notorious for fornication worldwide.

Sexually-transmitted-diseases [STDs] are everywhere today throughout the world. Many diseases still have no cure. Some are curable, but very painful until available treatment has time to work. It's a horrible price to pay for a few moments of lustful fun. There's no love involved. It's all about the money. With the U.S. economy going to Hell, there are going to be all sorts of legal and illegal prostitution, gambling, loan sharks, and other evil vices that exploit people. As hard as it may be for some Americans to grasp, there are young women in this world who will completely sell their virtue for a morsel of food. It is the poor who are exploited the most, and taken advantage of, by sexual-predators from United Nations military groups and other agencies that are supposedly helping the poor.

There are virtually no laws in Central and South America protecting young people from being slaved out as prostitutes. Sadly, the U.S. military are some of the biggest and most woeful offenders of exploiting young teen girls and boys for sex in such nations. Tragically, many of the girls and boys seduce the men, meeting them when they get off the Navy ship, or hanging around the taverns and nightclubs. If you're a Christian man, your best bet is to STAY ON THE SHIP. Read your Bible, workout in the gym, enjoy what's available; but avoid temptations that are going to ruin your health, your career, and get you into trouble with your commanding officer and God in Heaven most of all. It ain't worth it sailor.

And then there's the cross-dressers, i.e., beautiful looking women that are actually men. It is sickening, what the Bible calls “an ABOMINATION” unto God. There are MANY transvestites, homosexuals and cross-dressers throughout the world today. I was stunned to learn that the biggest sex-change clinic in the United States is located in Colorado. You don't need to fly to Thailand anymore. It is an abomination in the sight of God. Hey, but what do you expect when tens-of-millions of Americans who idolize Oprah Winfrey are being told to let their little girls grow up to have a sex change and become a man. It is insanity and demon-possession. I firmly believe that Oprah Winfrey is possessed by demons at times, if not all the time. Only a demonically-inspired monster would encourage a child to have sex-change surgery, which goes totally contrary to everything the Bible teaches. Be humbly proud of what God made you. Stevie Wonder was born blind, but he praises God and sings from his heart (John 9:1-5).

Harry Potter is aimed at introducing children to witchcraft, desensitizing them to magic and occult practices. So many people have become caught up into online dirty-advertising. Sex-sells as they say! Sex may sell; but it is blood-money, filthy-lucre, ill-gotten-gain, dirt money. Victoria's Secret is not a secret anymore. Their whores are displayed everywhere in society in our faces. It just shows the greedy, lack of taste, and heathen character of the unsaved people who own the company. The internet has become a dangerous place to be spiritually. One must exercise great caution to avoid immoral websites. If I had my way, I'd disconnect every internet website permanently. There would be NO internet. I only have my ministry and am online because that's where the people are at. Electronically, God has used my ministry to reach thousands of people for God.

Our nation's great need of the hour is massive Hell, fire, and damnation preaching. Sin is no longer exceedingly sinful (Romans 7:13). The TV has DESENSITIZED people to the awfulness of sin. The Bible makes sin exceedingly sinful (Romans 3:19).

The answer is getting people saved by the Word of God, so they'll have Jesus Christ in their soul to help make the changes necessary in that person's life for God. The Bible does NOT teach that there will be a giant revival in the Last Days as some false prophets are teaching. To the contrary, Jesus said the End Times would return once again to the way things were before the flood of Noah's time, when the whole world perished except Noah and his immediate family (Matthew 24:37-39).

This is a way of life in Japan, Korea and China. As much evil as we here about America, it is just as evil in other nations too. The only difference is that Hollywood has turned sleaze, violence, adultery and every sin imaginable into a Madison Avenue Product. They glamorize sin and make billions of dollars by doing so (Romans 1:32).

Although there's nothing more NORMAL than for a healthy man to want to look, lust and have sex with a pretty woman (and vice versa); the Bible calls all Christians, men and women alike to holy living, even as God is holy. As my pastor used to always say, “I don't have a dirty-mind, I have a man's mind.” Jesus condemned mental adultery as being equivalent in God's eyes to the physical act itself. Matthew 5:28, “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” The mindset of a Christian man ought to be VERY, VERY different than the mindset of an unsaved man still wallowing in his sins like a pig (Colossians 3:1-5). Hebrews 13:4 warns that God WILL JUDGE all adulterers and whoremongers.

Dirty thinking leads to dirty living. King David learned this the hard way. However, after committing the terrible sins of adultery and murder, David repented and became a better man for it, as evidenced in Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” David had learned that the key to a clean life is a clean heart. David prayed and begged God for a new spirit, a new attitude toward his relation with his God. Christianity is not measured in months or even years; but rather, in decades. Our Christian life is composed of the decisions that we make from one moment to the next. Each person's life reveals a tale, a book. If you don't live righteous on purpose, then you will sin by nature instead (Jeremiah 17:9). It's please the Lord, or do your own thing. It can't be both ways.

The average professed Christian today praises God in insincerity, blaming God when they drop the ball and lose the game, literally, as Steve Johnson did in December of 2010 . . .

Johnson was so despondent after the game, he took to Twitter where he questioned a higher power for allowing him to drop the would-be touchdown.

“I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!! AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO...”

In his postgame news conference before he left the stadium, Johnson's emotions were raw.

"It comes down to one play and you drop the ball," Johnson said. "We'll bounce back, of course. The season's not over yet. We're going to have to bounce back, and we will.

"I'll never get over it. Ever. The Buffalo Bills will get over it, but I won't. You're a receiver. You don't drop the ball. I won't get over it."

Instead of being concerned about the dying souls of his fans, or of others, most of whom are going to spend eternity burning in the fires of Hell; Steve Johnson instead is concerned about dropping the ball and losing the football game. It's only a game Steve! I am not saying that we shouldn't be sore losers. I'm against teaching kids to be content losers. We ought to get upset when we lose. To come in 2nd place makes you the 1st loser. That's nothing to celebrate. I don't want 2nd place, you can keep it. I want to win.

We have taught our kids for so long how to be good losers that we've lost sight of winning anymore. A coach should teach his team to give it their best, but 2nd place is nothing to celebrate about because you're still the losers. A man ought to cry when he loses. He poured his heart into training for a whole year, sometimes an entire childhood for the World Olympics. That's a man. He strove to win and blew it, and now he is brokenhearted.

I can't help but think about most believers today, and the lack of soul-winning in nearly every believer's life. You are dropping the ball, losing the game for someone. Literally, because you fumbled the ball someone is going to burn in Hell forever. Are you going to blame God as did Steve Johnson? Are you going to say, “Hey God, I praised you 24/7 and now you're upset with me, telling me I didn't win any souls on earth? What's wrong with you God? I sang and worked hard in my church. You're unfair to me God!” Is that what you're going to say.

The ball was in Steve Johnson's hand. Did God cause a strong wind to blow the ball out of his hands. Did God strike Steve with insanity for a few seconds, long enough to make him drop the ball and lose the game? Did God sabotage the football game? How ridiculous for a Pro football player who is being paid a multi-million dollar salary per year, to complain like a little baby that God let him down. I know a couple pastors like that, who are in their mid thirties and still wearing mental diapers.

BUT... I'm not going to stoop low and blame God, throwing it in his face that He owes me because I praise Him all the time.

Some women may think it's healthy and normal for their husband to desire and look at such immoral photos. It may be normal for the carnal flesh; BUT, it is not spiritually healthy. In fact, it is sinful (Matthew 5:28). Those who willfully sin, having no regard for the Word of God, will give account to God one day at the judgment seat.

Hebrews 13:4 teaches that God WILL judge all adulterers and whoremongers. This definitely includes all the men who willfully commit thousands of adulteries, one whore after another, in their minds through dirty and devilish magazines. Such filthy publications spit in the face of God's moral Laws. If you think Sports Illustrated is harmless, it is only because you are so far from God that you have a calloused heart. Here is how every American should react to such filth. Sadly, some false religions have more morals than many so-called "Christians" today. This is tragic and sad.

Sports Illustrated magazine is demonic filth and shouldn't be allowed into anyone's home. We should ban Sports Illustrated! Americans Get What We Deserve!
