I recently read in the news about a fancy hotel suite in Las Vegas, featuring a Playboy theme, that rents out for a mind-boggling $40,000 per night!!! ...
Fancy Vegas hotel suite is $40,000 a night
LAS VEGAS, July 19 (UPI) -- A Las Vegas resort is setting the bar for home-away-from-home extravagance, offering a two-story "sky villa" with a Jacuzzi and a butler for $40,000 a night.
Located in the Palms Casino Resort, the Playboy-themed, Hugh Hefner Sky Villa is 10,000-square-feet and has a $700,000 Jacuzzi with breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip, as well as a bed that rotates beneath a mirrored ceiling, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.
The posh digs are the most expensive of 101 U.S. hotel suites featured in an annual survey conducted by Elite Traveler, a magazine for readers with average household incomes of more than $5 million.
Also making the list are the Hotel Bel-Air, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the Beverly Wilshire, the Setai hotel in Miami, and the Palms' Hardwood Suite, which boasts half a basketball court and a locker room.
Prices of the rooms start at $1,500 and include various perks like an indoor pool, personal chef or use of a Maserati Quattroporte sedan.
Doug Gollan, editor in chief of the New York-based magazine, said an "amazingly huge concentration of wealth" is creating a demand for these high-end suites.

How tragic and sinful that men can spend ridiculous amounts of money on such wasteful things. It's hard to image such grandeur and extravagant spending in lieu of the 18,000 poor children that starve to death EVERY DAY in this world. Las Vegas certainly lives true to it's nickname... SIN CITY!!!
The Awfulness of Sin!
Americans aren't just sinful, they are in denial about their sins. We have become sinfully proud and arrogant as a people, dismissing God's commands, removing prayer and Bible teaching from our public schools, and redefining God. But God hasn't changed, and the truths of God's Word haven't changed, and sin is still sin.
Here is a powerful quote from the mighty man of God, and Bible teacher, M.R. DeHaan, M.D. ...
"Has it ever struck you, as it has me, that the world has tried desperately hard to rid itself of even the very mention of the word sin? It has almost entirely disappeared from the world's vocabulary. We can pick up our newspaper or magazine and read all the accounts of violence and atrocity and murder and dishonesty, but seldom are these things called "sin." Writers talk about crime and violence and death and murder and immorality, but the word SIN is carefully avoided.
Now all of this become very significant, for we believe it to be an attempt, consciously or unconsciously, to get rid of the idea of sin. But sin is still sin, and until there is a revival of preaching against sin in all of its awfulness, as a filthy damning rebellion against God, which it is, there cannot be a revival, but the world will continue getting worse and more rotten and more sinful than ever. By the grace of God, we, therefore, shall lift our voice against sin, not merely as a human weakness, not merely as the mistakes of a race trying to climb upward by evolutionary process, but as that vicious, selfish, filthy thing which lies at the basis and root of all man's troubles and trials, and which is a rebellion against a thrice-holy God, which must result in the punishment of the sinner in an eternal Hell, unless it is taken care of by the blood atonement of the Son of God. That is why we preach on the subject of the blood, the only God-given remedy for sin."

This is the message which America's preachers desperately need to hear today! We have become complacent concerning sin! Pornography has become so commonplace that few preachers today cry aloud against it. Isaiah the prophet preached tough against sin... "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins" (Isaiah 58:1). Where are the Billy Sundays today, who will preach uncompromisingly against sin? America doesn't need anymore ear-ticklin', back-scratchin', penny-pinchin', nickel-nippin', soft-soap, compromising, pink-tea and lemonade type sissy preachers. No sir! What America desperately needs today is old-fashioned, Bible-believin', people-lovin', barn-stormin', window-rattlin', shingle-pullin', narrow-minded, Hell-fire and damnation, separated, soulwinning, preachers who aren't afraid to speak the truth!!!
America is going to Hell, literally. I recently spoke with an elderly gentleman who said to me, "Our society today is saturated with demonism." He is absolutely correct! All across America children are proudly displaying the demonic witchcraft of Harry Potter: books, lunch boxes, school supplies, backpacks, toys, et cetera. All witchcraft is demonic! We don't hear much about sin these days, but the Word of God hasn't changed. Society today has redefined the term "wicked" to mean something good.
Jesus is Coming Again!
Repent America! The pleasures of sin will only last for a season (Hebrews 11:25). Las Vegas is more wicked today than the inhabitants of Sodom could ever have imagined. It's hard to imagine someone spending a year's salary (for the average man), on one night in a fancy hotel suite... $40,000!!! I heard on the news recently, that some Hollywood partygoers spend $8,000 on a single bottle of wine! Many sinners are wealthy, and already have heaven on earth (so they think), so they don't want God. Angelina Jolie said...
"Hmm... For some people. I hope so, for them. For the people who believe in it, I hope so. There doesn't need to be a God for me. There's something in people that's spiritual, that's godlike. I don't feel like doing things just because people say things, but I also don't really know if it's better to just not believe in anything, either."
Heathen millionaires may have their fun today; but they will be poorer than poor when they're burning in the flames of Hellfire (2nd Thessalonians 1:8). Jesus is coming again to reign on earth, and when He does, it will be a glorious day to see the doom of SIN CITY, Hollywood, Mardi Gras, and all the other sin-loving places on earth.
"The true Church preaches REGENERATION; not reformation, not education, not legislation, but regeneration." -M.R. DeHaan, M.D.
