Police have heightened the level of restrictions once again today with little effect in the capital city today after a state of emergency was declared by the office of the Prime Minister for the ongoing freedom convoy protest after three weeks of occupation of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Today on Thursday February 17th 2022 reports received from ground zero suggest that police have started giving out fines and notices that people who are not leaving the roadways will be subject to arrest.
