Truckers from Canada demonstrating against covid restrictions have partially blocked one of the busiest borders to the United States. Traffic on the Ambassador Bridge, which traverses 25 percent of all trade between Canada and the United , between Detroit and Windsor in Ontario, is completely barred from entering Canada, while some vehicles are missed in the direction of the United States.
For more than ten days, neither the police nor the local authorities have been able to stop the riot caused by the truckers from the so-called "Freedom Convoy".
The truckers have been demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for weeks, despite restrictive measures imposed by local authorities. They have already petitioned Queen Elizabeth II to force federal and local governments to lift Covid restrictions.
