Just started a blaze black 2 run. Getting terrible luck for Pokemon though! I get random garbage [spoilers]except Sewiggle, it's just that I trained a Sewaddle in another game recently so I'd like to freshen it up a little[/spoiler] and then start running into all these cool Pokemon after I catch one. Not to mention it gave me bug/grass only. Luckily I got Pikablu to break the chain, but he's not very strong...

Gonna grind a bit then fight Cheren. Wish me luck!

Yeah, every Pokemon is available in the hack, mostly dispersed in the routes at normal levels, like you said.

I know how you feel, I tried to do a Black 2 randomized run the other day, but my starter was a Piplup and there was like four legendaries in the first couple of routes, and the trainers all had evolved Pokemon too, so I got obliterated pretty fast. I recommend blaze black because you still get to try lots of Pokemon but it's not unreasonable like that.

New member of the Pokemon Crystal voyage. Vamp the Zubat and Fleet the Pidgey. Don't know which I'll use for now. I've used Zubat a ton in the past and I generally try to avoid repeats. Pidgey is a Pokemon I haven't used since my first playthrough of Green so I'm leaning towards it.

I also save and reset a lot if my first encounter isn't a Pokémon I really want (trying to focus on Pokémon I've never raised before). It's like, what are they gonna do, send the Nuzlocke Police after me?

Started my first Nuzlocke a couple days ago. About to train my Voltorb and then head into Rock Tunnel.
I lost the Raticate and Drowzee because I was stupid and thought I could get lucky, and the other two were to crits. I'm planning to play more carefully from now on, I don't want to make any more mistakes like that.

Don't mind the immature names, I was playing with a friend and he wanted to name everything. We forget to nickname Nidoqueen, but I'm going to change that when I get to the Name Rater (if she lasts that long).

Something that's always pissed me off about watching other people nuzlocke is watching them stock up, or the lack of it. A lot of the time they would of survived if they just bought a damn extra antidote.

Been playin' Platinum. Just lost my Buizel to a stupid fucking Selfdestruct. Spent a lot of time evolving a Togepi I don't think I'm gonna use. Recently picked up a Gible and the Eevee from Bebe. Gonna evolve it into an Umbreon but it's taking forever to get happy.

Facing Fantina soon but she's easily the hardest GL I'll be facing for a while, but I plan on overleveling like a mofo and having Umbreon should help. I think I'll be picking up Spiritomb for my last slot after this Gym.

So, Cheren was brutal. He had six pokemon, 12-14, Minccino, Munchlax, Buneary, Lillipup, Pidove, Teddiursa. Most were beaten with sleep powder+air slash (butterfree/Kitty), but these:
>Munchlax: had a hell of a lot of HP+leftovers. He ended up using metronome and killing himself with Lunar Dance, luckily
>Buneary: Charmed the shit out of it with Azurill while he was using work up, but then he ended up using water pulse and killing Azurill with his special attack boosted so much.
>Teddiursa: Nearly KO'd Kitty. I had a feeling he had fling or something, because he was holding a poison orb I think, but it ended up being his downfall.

I'm upset about Azurill (6-14), I had high hopes. Also, I just realized I released him with the soothe bell still attached FUCKFUCKFUCK

Try a different game; Johto games are pretty much insane because of the length. I'd recommend DPPt and BW since grinding is made easier by Vs. Seeker/Audinos respectively and they're not terribly long.

Gonna stop for a few hours, but here's my current team. They're all doing pretty well, except Timmy is suffering from nomoves-induced uselessness. Hopefully he'll learn something before Roxie.

I have a few trainers and then I have to make the decision whether I want to grind more before Roxie. Cheren was pretty damn difficult so I'm wondering if maybe I should go up a couple more levels just to be on the safe side.

Started a romhack run a few days back, beat all the gym leaders but Gary killed me (because I was too impatient to grind anyone) Graveyard was pictured.....had a lot of bros in this run, but my MVP (from the route at the beginning to Sabrina) was Samus the Nidoqueen. The only one who's dead who isn't pictured is Darunia the Aerodactyl, who was the final death and thus can't be boxed.....I promised myself if I failed this run I would never touch this ROMhack again, and I mean it. Just started a Diamond run rolling Piplup, gonna name it Gunther

I haven't played my platinum run for a while, I had about 10 losses, including my Monferno to Mars Purugly's critical scratch I think, my Roselia and another random pokemon died to a Horn Drill. Strangely, my Pachirisu is still alive as I'm going to the 7th gym.

I was training Pawnex, and decided to use him against the girl trainer outside rock tunnel since she has Clefairy and jigglypuff.
I beat jigglypuff no problem.
Clefairy is faster than me so I get put to sleep twice, but woke up.
