Personally, I'm not a fan of the board because when I was lurking I saw quite a few people using the word privilege without a single trace of irony or self-awareness.

/pol/ has been plagued by \shitposting from the very group who is now currently trying to make that board their home.

I haven't the slightest idea why moot thought creating an LGBT oriented board on 4chan would go over well. There was already a virtual gurantee that a large amount of the 4chan userbase would troll there... but with past 4 months of conflict over /pol/ makes it even worse.

Was this the intent? To shed some light on what's going on? Or was it seriously a concession to this group of fucking rebbitors trying to spread their ideology to 4chan?

Something tells me /lgbt/ will not pan out and will end up being removed. /pol/ will likely play a part with their negative reaction to the board. But anyone who has been on /pol/ for any length of time would understand why it was inevitable. Hell, it's not even exclusive to /pol/... anyone who's been on 4chan for a while would expect some problems.
