I love the artwork of the TCG. It gives us a good glimpse into the Pokeworld and we get some art for characters with no art (like the Rocket admins form GSC)

i play competitively and collect pokemon cards and i agree the artwork is amazing. the newer black and white art is a little bleh since it looks computer animated but man any art from fossil, base set,neo Genesis, and even new sets like hg/ss are beautiful

If you are going to collect, do it properly and get the Japanese cards, because they have superior foil.English cards only deserve to be played and nothing else (unless its one of those Wizards exclusives).
Pokebeach has pretty nice and clear images of the cards, in case someone wants to go look for more art.
