As a new trainer, I still lack intelligence of a pokemon's structural capabilities. (not really)
I'm looking for any person who knows of pokemon's biology.
>>
I don't really know what to add to this discussion, but goddamn, that is an impressive picture.
>>
>>9415194
most of it makes ALOT of sense.
Some things I'm still curious about.
>>
>>9415168
you rang?
Castelia Uni lecturer from the previous thread here. What did you need to know?
>>
>>9415168
But it's a ghost, why would it need an anatomy?
>>
>>9415241
well as mentioned I need a run-down on Pokemon anatomy.
So far as my team goes I wonder if Minccino's tail produces the layer of oil that keeps it clean.
>>
>>9415212
>Most of it makes sense
>Most of the body of Misdreavus is made of soft, gaseous tissue

>>
>>9415278
I understand human anatomy very well just not alot of pokemon anatomy.
Plenty of things left for me to know.
>>
>>9415269
I take it you mean why its tail is always nicely groomed and clean?
Imagine the glands that give a Ducklett's feathers their waterproof quality, but instead secrete a transparent fluid that is absorbed by the fur on a Mincinno's tail and repels dirt and dust. Naturally, this makes an already festidious Pokémon well suited to cleaning its habitat (or anything else for that matter).
>>
>>9415306
Yeah I kinda checked my pokedex but i wondered since it doesn't give a full run-down of the pokemon itself.
>>
>>9415323
So you want to know exactly how it works?
Writing it on my phone would be murder (can't into laptop; too noisy, and i don't want to wake my newly caught Druddigon... She's touchy.)

Well, since you said you know human biology well; it works just like a human sweat gland, but secretes a see-through, water-and-dirt repelling fluid instead of sweat.
>>
Bumping with my own question, actually. Since i caught a Druddigon to help me with my lecture, i plan on keeping her. I wanted to give her a nickname, to make her feel like part of the 'family'. Any ideas?

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Dewgongs, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Team Rocket, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in Mankey warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire Kanto armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the region and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, caterpie. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United Kanto Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

Is it me, or is it freezing up in here? I'm in Unova. It's not so bad that there's snow all over the god damn place, but still, you can tell it's getting cold.

My Teddiursa and Ursaring also refuse to go outside now, preferring to stay inside my home. Whenever I look outside, I see more Cubchoo and Beartic for some reason. Could it be the weather?

Some other Pokemon I've seen a lot of recently are Snorunt, Swinub, and Delibird. It's not even Winter yet.

Saw an Eevee evolve into Glaceon too, that was damn adorable if I do say so myself.

Finally, this may just be my eyes fucking with me. But I saw a mysterious shadow fly into the sky over here. It was kinda blue, like a light shade of blue. It had this weird long tail with sparkles trailing behind it.

The fuck did I see?
>>
>>9416142
In Unova 'ay?
That description bears resemblance to an old Kanto folk story, but i can't quite put my finger on it.
>>

>>
You, Castelia Uni professor should do more of this sketching or biological sketching. It's damn interesting! Try Hitmonchan's boxing glove which I always thought how can it be a part of its body? Urgh, the mindfuck.
>>
>>9416142

It's definitely not just you... it's fucking freezing where I live in Unova, too. My Leafeon won't even go outside on a walk with me anymore because it's too damn cold. I saw a couple Vanillite meander in my backyard for a bit, though, so I guess that's a plus.

Any idea what's going on? I'm considering moving because this is getting really crazy.. I have family in Hoenn..
>>

Has anyone ever had any problems with trading?

I met a guy in this bar in Sinnoh with an Electabuzz, and he agreed to trade for my Onix to evolve them. Trouble is, he's refusing to trade back, like we agreed.

I've tried battling him. (My) Steelix won't outright attack me, but it can't disobey him, and all my Pokemon refuse to attack it. So we've reached a stalemate. Help?
>>
>>9417740
Well your fucked. Seriously you just met him and you did something that important and personal, you could have just asked a friend or family member it like what... minutes. Also how I still dont understand how Pokemon evolve by trading, I can understand Shelmet and Karrablast cause one takes the latters Shell, but how does trading cause them to consume said item?
>>
>>9417740
Get the local forces involved; it's basically theft/kidnapping, if you both agreed to trade back.
>>
>>9415168
Looking at pics like these really make me feel like eating pokemon... is this normal?
>>
>>9417769
Depends on what kind of Pokémon, really.
>>
Bump one last time. I love these threads.
>>
>>9418052
Same; it just seems like someone asks a question then noone replies/people ignore and go onto something else a lot

Haven't even tried to start the Hitmonchan gloves sketch; paperwork's piled against me currently, as i try to coerce Druddigon to let me study her somewhat. On that note, has anyone got an idea on what to name her?
>>
>>9417769
I think it's a really bad idea to try and eat a Misdreavus, or any Ghost type really. I can't help but imagine its soul devouring you instead. I usually do with magikarp and pidgey. They're plenty so I won't put them at risk of extinction. Magikarp can be pretty bad though. Try catching them at a place far from towns like vermilion, an oil-free zone. I let the magicarp get imported from route 119 in Hoenn. Cleanest water in the whole area.
>>
>>9418060
What about the name Demona?
>>
>>9418446
Demona... means 'south', doesn't it?
Pretty unique, bro.
Suits something as unique as a Druddigon, and its appearance.
>>
>>9418480
It's actually a name of a Gargoyle from an animated series. It's fitting because Druddigon is based on a gargoyle.
>>
>>9418508
That's what i get for checking Google. Either way; research time.
>>
>>9417454
One of my "odd" in the head friends said something about that "Kyurem" guy in all those Unovian legends. He said something bigs going to happen and going to cover the entire region in ice. Hence causing that bird I saw earlier to migrate over here. I think he's out of it.

I have a Magcargo to warm me up, so I don't have to move just yet.
>>
>>9417740
That happened to me once. Some kid with a pikachu lectured him on the morality of pokemon trading and he realized the error of his ways and traded my pokemon back.

>>
Quick backstory My city is trying to pass a law restricting pokemon with a BST of over 500 withing city limits without a permit, If you ask me this is all leading up to what pokemon I'm allowed to have all together, I know for a fact a buddy of mine had to get a permit for his pupitar but it didnt go through and they took it away. If that law goes through I'll have to move out into the sticks since my Arcanine, Electivire, Espeon, Gengar...most of my freaking team will be banned from being outside of their balls.

I've been wanting a tauros or bouffalant and this gives me the perfect excuse just to walk it around the city since they both have a BST of 490

not sure which to choose though, Tauros you have to pick the battling breed and not the fat ones used for tauros burgers and shit, the horns are wider i think

So
which should i get Tauros or bouffalant?

Oh, are you talking about the Cinnabar volcano explosion?
I'm a reporter from Goldenrod. I still remember the day I had to fly down to Cinnabar Island. It was awful -- it was so... desolate. It was hard to get around without a Pokémon that knew rock climb.
Here's an aerial image I took. Pretty much everything except for the Pokémon Center was gone. Also, pay attention during your lessons!

>>
>>9419302
Experience with Bouffalont herds leads me to say that that they're probably far less aggressive than Tauros are; ESPECIALLY the battle bred ones.

What is this babbys first conspiracy?
Everyone knows what actually caused the destruction was the Cinnabar Anomaly.
Look it up.
>>
>>9419315
>>9419297

That kind of made me think. Why did Moltres relocate to Mt. Silver anyway? I wrote an article on Moltres sightings near Victory Road and South of Blackthorn.

Perhaps we just need geologists and historians on this issue...
>>
>>9419297
>Moltres
Ha, that's cute. Everyone knows that Blaine faked evidence of an eruption to get everyone off the island, then set it off himself to destroy MissingNo.
>>
>>9419313
I'm no stranger to aggresive pokemon, ive trained a salamence (sure cost a hell of alot, sucks all the wild ones are long gone) I'm no stranger that kind of thing. I plan on getting it taught return, so bond with the tauros would be key.

I just need to pick which ever one would be most effective in battle, Its my understanding that bouffalant are a tad bit stronger, a hell of a lot slower but can take a hit better and they can learn much better moves.

what experience do you have with bouffalant herds do you have? would you recommend it over a tauros?
>>
>>9419315
The anomaly is bullshit man, just a excuse made up by that guy who shoplifted a ton of rarecandy.
later that guy who stole the master ball blueprints from Silph and made a ton of bootleg copies claimed he got them from the Anomaly... yeah sure, totally believable. I'm telling you man, it was Moltres.
>>
>>9419332

Watching how they act and how they respond to challenges presented to them.

Bouffalant are intelligent Pokémon despite their appearance and do actually think things through. Tauros... Flail and attack wildly to overcome problems.
>>
>>9419361
Blaine is a good man. I'm from Viridian, and I used to go to cinnabar almost every weekend when I was a child. I remember Blaine was really nice to the kids, he gave me my first ragecandy.
I spoke with him shortly before the eruption , he didn't seem up to anything. besides, Blaine may be a strong trainer, but even his pokemon couldn't force the volcan to erupt. No man, for that you would need more firepower. You would need... Moltres.
>>
>>9419375
Nobody sells them because their trade is restricted by the League. The only way to obtain one, other than finding it, is to get it from battle facility. He stole them from the Battle Tower from what I have heard.
And the Master Ball counterfeiter made them in a Arceusforsaken warehouse in Tohjo falls region, nobody found him until it was too late.

What in Davy Jones' locker did ye just bark at me, ye scurvy bilgerat? I'll have yer guts for garters and keel haul ye like never been done before, hear me true. You think ye can hide behind your newfangled computing device? Think twice on that, scallywag. As we parley I be contacting my secret network o' pirates across the sea and yer port is being tracked right now so ye better prepare for the typhoon, weevil. The kind o' monsoon that'll wipe ye off the map. You're sharkbait, fool. I can sail anywhere, in any waters, and can kill ye in o'er seven hundred ways, and that be just with me hook and fist. Not only do I be top o' the line with a cutlass, but I have an entire pirate fleet at my beck and call and I'll damned sure use it all to wipe yer arse off o' the world, ye dog. If only ye had had the foresight to know what devilish wrath your jibe was about to incur, ye might have belayed the comment. Let's spark a discussion, shall we?

What's everyone's opinion on using Pokémon in war?
>>
My Lucario has turned aggressive towards other people all of a sudden.
I don't know what's up with him, I've had him for over 15 years already, and he has never behaved like this, got him as an egg on my 7th birthday as a gift, hatched that egg myself and raised him from Riolu to one of my greatest allies and friends ever.
He's still kind towards me and other pokémon, but barks and charges his Aura Sphere whenever another human tries to converse with me.
I don't know what to do with him now, giving him away or releasing him is something I just can't do...
>>
>>9423039
Perhaps it's in heat. A trip to a specialist sounds out of the question, if it acts like that. That or something's affected it, making it angry towards humans.
>>
>>9423036
personally, I dont like it, but its a necessary evil. Pokemon are probably the most efficient tool of war theres ever been.
>>
>>9423067
It's necessary, but it fucking sucks. When you join the forces, you have to use your own Pokémon, so you not only risk your life but your team's as well. It's like losing a squad mate or family member.
>>
>>9423053
I doubt he's in heat; he doesn't show any kind of interest toward other pokémon, he seems dislike spending time with them.
I took him into a Pokécenter the other day but they said that he's fine, just a bit upset over something.

I have a question. I've heard Grimer can reproduce somewhat similar to mitosis, simply producing more, smaller grimer when they get large enough. How does Kanto and other places where there are large amounts of them keep the population under control. I mean, having piles of toxic sludge able to produce infinitely like that seems like a huge problem. Is anybody keeping these guys in check? I live in snowpoint, sinnoh so we don't have problems here. But the other day my friend was telling me about this and how he's convinced grimer and muk are going to try and establish themselves as the new dominant species with a slow takeover.
>>
>>9423506
Ahh; the old Grimer/Muk problem. That's been going for a while, and with good reason, as your friend pointed out. They reproduce via a form of mitosis BUT the original 'dies', so to speak upon the new Grimer being formed. This allows nutrients if any, since they're blobs of poison, basically are re-absorbed back into the enviroment. This is, more or less, a natural balance for the species.
>>
>>9423506
I thought all pokémon are born from eggs.
>>
>>9423521

>>
>>9423514
Ah. sorry if I'm mistaken. my friend has a pen-pal in johto and he sent some pokedex information over. Alright guys, this is fucked. I'm heading down Sinnoh Route 210 to get to Solaceon Town to check out the ruins. I stopped to rest about halfway there, and while resting, I saw a chansey walking towards me. I immediately thought "Holy shit, a chansey!" and grabbed a pokeball to battle it. However, this is were it gets fucked. Before I could throw the ball, it started "presenting" itself to me, for lack of a better word. What the hell do I do? Guys, I'm a bug catcher. I'm not your average one, though, I'm what they would be if they actually put effort into training their Pokémon. My main team is composed of entirely bug pokemon, but you won't find any chrysalids or larvae in this team. I'm talking Galvantula, Volcarona, Scizor, Shuckle, Shedinja, and Heracross. Meticulously trained in harsh environments against a variety of different Pokémon. I'm working to be a gym leader or an Elite Four rep, but so far there haven't been any openings.

>>
>>9424210
They do not only hire women, actually most of the doctors and surgeons are men. However, after the "incident" in Saffron, they tend to keep who's working there away from the public.

>>
>>9424257

Please tell about this "incident:
>>
>>9424053

This one's easy. Hitmonchan's boxing gloves are actually their hands. When they evolve from Tyrogue, their hands become rigid and padded to ensure that their punches deal more damage.
>>
>>9424254
Low pay, sucky hours great benefits.
You'll never see one, they are all trained from birth.
>>
>>9424314

>>9424229
Considering it's a species which is female only, they can be fertilized by any species.

Congratulations.
>>
>>9424312
Oh wow, but can they unfold their gloves to have manouverable digits?
>>
Is it true that most of the nurses and police officers of Japan suffer from a rare genetic defect that makes it nearly impossible for them to produce children that don't look almost exactly like them?
>>
>>9424344

No, it's essentially like a baseball mitt. The hands have individual digits, but they're all joined together by a large skin coating. They can still use their hands to pick stuff up.
>>
>>9424296
Oh, haven't you heard? I take it you're a Hoenn boy. As we all know, Team Rocket was, and to some degree still is, harsh in Saffron. They didn't fancy the doctors, helping out trainers who had been harassed by the team, so they broke into the homes of the doctors and threatened them to stop helping out. Some of them refused, and it became brutal.

Watson, my Porygon2 is running even hotter than usual, and that just makes my Cacturne hang around him even more, getting sand in his ports. Obviously this gets Watson a bit riled up.

Ok guys, so here's the deal.
Living on Dewford island, I've lived a relatively isolated life away from many humans and so, naturally, as a child I spent huge amounts of time in Granite Cave to pass the time. It was then at the around the age of six that whilst exploring some of the deeper areas of the cavern that I stubled upon my best friend: Aron, who I promptly nicknamed Scarlet for her deep red eyes (I think she might be a "shiny"?). Anyway, our day-to-day activites included tickle fights and tag, you know, kid's stuff.
Ten years later, Scarlet is now a fully grown Aggron.
My problem?
She still wants to have tickle fights and play tag which would be all well and good if she weren't a 720 KG deathmachine easily capable of crushing my skull.
I'm serious guys, I can't live with this constant body trauma (so far I've been admitted to hospital on three separate occasions) but I don't want to hurt her feelings either..
What do?

TL;DR how can I tell my Aggron that my squishy human frame is too fragile for her to play rough with?

"shiny" 'ay? One of the things us biologists still have no clue about.

Anyway, the shenanigans problem... I guess it's a given she understands her actions cause you to be hospitalised, right? The best thing to do is actually tell her that getting carried away isn't good, but you can still play with each other. An alternative could be to find another activity to do together, one that doesn't end in injury. That or you could try cuddling with her, if that doesn't bother you.

So, I've got a Lucario, named Nephythys, after some deity from an obscure religion.

Anyway, to make a needlessly long and creepy story short, she's in heat and needs a mate. I've been trying to breed her with a Zoroark or a Weavile, but she's kinda creeped out about these two. The goal here is to get a good egg out of it with a series of nice moves.

Any suggestions if the first idea doesn't work?

Thinking back to the way you said she still enjoys 'tickle fights' and such (and i don't want to worry you), maybe she 'likes' you. If some are destroyed, can be remaining exeggcute be absorbed into another "colony"? How are new mental links set up? Is it possible to change the number of heads on an exeggcutor based on how many exeggcute are in a colony? Do they have specific jobs within their colonies when in the wild? (hunting, gathering, scouting) When exeggcute are together, do their mental powers increase linearly or exponenially? What are their insides like? Am I asking too many questions?
>>
>>9426412
They are floating balls of steel with a large eyeball and magnets in the side. They feed off electrical feeds, magnetic frequencies and on pure electricity when it starts acting up it probably wants to evolve by fusing with 2 other magnemites.
>>
>>9426458
I'm no expert, but I'll take a stab at it.
>How do exeggcute function? Do they have a hivemind, or do they communicate telepathically?
They're all born in the same place at the same time, and since they're psychic types it's entirely possible that they've got sort of mental link that keeps them together.
>Is one exeggcute in overall command?
I think that since they're 5 seperate minds working together, they probably have something of a social structure. Their personalities become even more pronounced as exeggutor, even when they're fused into one being.
>Do they share a field of vision, able to see what the others see?
Psychic types do that shit all the time.
>If some are destroyed, can be remaining exeggcute be absorbed into another "colony"? How are new mental links set up? Is it possible to change the number of heads on an exeggcutor based on how many exeggcute are in a colony? Do they have specific jobs within their colonies when in the wild? (hunting, gathering, scouting)
Not sure about these.
>When exeggcute are together, do their mental powers increase linearly or exponenially?
I'd say linearly.
>What are their insides like?
No idea.
>Am I asking too many questions?
You're fine.
>>
>>9426458
Exeggcute communicate telepathically - they ARE Psychic. As for the vision, ever seen the Lati@s movie?
If Exeggcute are destroyed/lost, other Exeggcute can buddy their way into another colony, or try to evolve. This is why Exeggcute is usually kept in the Safari Zone.
>>
>>9426516
Exeggcute is usually kept in the Safari Zone, so that if/when this happens, other abandoned colonies can merge together if need be, producing more Exeggcute. More, regenerating lost groups.

Enough of these lost groups exist that an Exeggcute's telepathy it begins to give off at birth can attract others of its gender, and they tend to flock together, explaining where 5 of the 6 seeds come from.

How do you start working at a pokemon center anyway?
>>
>>9427132
you just need to know the right person to fellate
>>
>>9427132
For a basic medical position (nurse, doctor, ect.) all you have to do I ask a nurse for an application, if you have graduated from trainer school and have taken and passed at least two medical classes they will hire you almost anywhere, with the exception of Unova where you have to have at least 4 years medical training . If you want to be a surgeon (anywhere) you have to have 4 years advanced schooling, and have to have worked at a center for seven months. For a janitor position or similar all you have to do is take a three day medical class, so you could help if an emergency happens.

What kinds of things should I keep my joltik from eating? He'll sometimes nibble on snacks I get for myself but I don't want him getting sick.
>>
>>9427294
You should avoid things with heavy spices, yeast based food, or citrus fruits. These are hard to digest, and citrus rich fruits actually weaken their electricity, so if you feed it fruits make sure they are things like banana slices or melons. Don't worry about sugar count though, it would take more sugar to damage a joltik than it would you, because they can burn of extra sugar by letting of little sparks.

Does anyone have experience on raising a Zorua/Zoroark?

A family member of mine made a trip to Unova, and brought with him a Zorua egg as a souvenier, which he offered to me.
I'm kind of hesitant, because I've heard that Zoroarks can be, well, tricky, and I don't know how will it behave with the two of my other pokémon, Lucario and Typhlosion, but on the other hand, a Zoroark might come in handy with my job at the training camp.
>>
>>9427406
They are Tricky as that is their Nature but if you raise one properly they will grow up to be loyal to you, though they will still do Illusions now and then.
>>
>>9427406
Unlike most Pokémon, Zoruas are able to eat meat (pre chewed or finely chopped) after the two week mark they are able to eat solid food. Like most long haired Pokémon, you have to brush them every other day. Due to there tricky nature and shifting ability, it will probably take the form of your other Pokémon, or even you. To get them out of that form all you have to do is make them laugh. They are also very active and enjoy jumping/climbing, so I recommend a climbing perch similar to ones use for Skittys. As for other Pokémon, there shouldn't be a problem seeing as the prefer Pokémon to human interaction.
>>
>>9427421
That's good to hear, though the illusions aren't the only thing I'm worried of. I've heard some rumors 'bout Zoroarks and Lucarios having some rivalry similar to Zangoose and Seviper.

>>9427448
Well, I can borrow some items from the camp to keep him/her active, there's a huge selection of toys and other stuff for pokémon so that shouldn't be a problem.
What kind of meat should I use? I know Lucario and Typhlosion loved Deerling meat when they were at their baby stages, and they still do, could that work?
>>
>>9427470
They mainly prefer meat of flying types such as Pidove or Woobat (Woobat most of all, I think its a dark type thing). Although, Since the Zorua would be young Deerling meat would work swell, but once it gets older I recommend that you let it hunt, since its a great way for it to stay in shape.
>>
>>9427489
Aren't Pidove and Woobat exclusive to Unova? I live in Sinnoh, and the only time I've seen a Pidove was on a traveling trainer.
There's plenty of Starly around though.
>>
>>9427506
Starly will work swimmingly.
>>
>>9427513
Alright, so food and activity aren't a problem. Would you happen to know whether the rumours of rivalry between Lucario and Zoroark are true or not? I'd hate to have those two constantly beating each other up.
>>
>>9427470
The rumor in a sense is partially true. Its not that Lucarios and Zoruas have a rivalry they may have a slight dislike with each other due to their typing because Fighting types generally dislike Dark types and the other way around ( I wonder how scraggy does it) so they may be inclined to punch or bite each other.
>>
>>9427521
There is typically a rivalry between adult Lucario and Zoroark, due to typing, that they pass of to their young, but seeing as you would be raising it from an egg, it would grow up never knowing about the feud, provided your Lucario behaves. (it should since Zoroarks are normally the instigates of the fights)
>>
>>9427533
Ah, well, I don't mind an occasional punch here or there, but I'm more worried about if they start fighting while we're in the middle of training a pokémon at the camp...

>>9427538
That's good. I've tried my best to raise my Lucario to behave well around all kinds of pokémon, but he still seems to have a natural disliking for Dark and Ground-types, but so far has tolerated them.
He loves Fire-types though, probably because he grew up with one.

Nice to see another Professor in these threads!

Got Druddigon in the class with me at the moment and she's shown a completely different side to when i first caught her; she's really timid and shy in front of the students. Weird.
>>
>>9428071
So what does a Professor do? Besides handing away starters.
>>
>>9428140
Personally, i teach at Castelia University; i think it's more of a stereotype that Professors give out starters. That and it's a great privelage to do so
>>
>>9428153
Fair enough, do you get much people over there? The university in Johto I went to was pretty quiet; most people I know just skipped university and just started doing whatever they wanted.
>>
>>9428165
It's fairly busy actually, but that's probably down to the fact that Unova is so dense and is in the largest city in the region.
>>
whats better durant or heatmor
>>
>>9428312
In terms of what?
>>
>>9428321
battling man
>>
>>9428312
Well, Durants hit hard and fast, had to train a couple of those a while ago.
Just make sure you're not against Fire-types.
>>
>>9428337
Well Durant is a capable defender and has respectable speed and attack power, but it doesn't have very decent special defense, which is certainly a bad flaw when it comes to fire types considering its typing.

Heatmore has abysmal defences and speed combined with ok attacking capabilities.

IMO... Durant is better suited to battling, but mind those fire types.

Bump.

Anyone else with a Sableye encounter this problem?

>watching tv, flipping through the channels
>Gem Shopping Network comes up
>my Sableye watches with amazement
>starts to drool, almost attacks the tv
>have to give him a handful of quartz crystals just to calm him down
This was weird as shit, but a little funny.
>>
>>9428666
How the fuck can you afford keeping a Sableye if it only eats gems?
>>
>>9428669
cheap gems like quartz or just plain rocks. Seems o work just fine.
>>
How hard is it to keep a tropius?

There's one who likes to hang around in my backyard and he seems nice enough.
>>
>>9429718
Depends on how close it lets you get to it.
The closer, the friendlier.
>>
>>9429718
If it's good around kids, i doubt it's too hard.
>>
>>9428140
My studies mostly involve observing the impact Pokémon and humans have on each other. That centers around the difference between human raised Pokémon and wild raised Pokémon.
>>
>>9429718
Tropius are among the easiest Pokémon to raise seeing as they have a food stash. If you are going to keep it in your yard, I recommend you have a fruit bearing tree out there. Tropius mostly feed on leafs, but consuming fruit help them regulate the digestive track, and it also makes the fruit around their neck more delicious. The fruit on its neck will make it popular with the neighborhood kids, who will likely climb on it, so make sure they don't get to rough.
>>
>>9429939
>>9429837
>>9429760
Cool. I think he shows up because my neighbor's peach tree leans over my yard a bit and they can't see him nabbing them on my side. Can't blame him, I do that too sometimes. Do you think I could teach him to do chores and stuff? He's quite tolerant but seems a little slow.
>>
>>9429981
Seeing as they have no arms most chores would be difficult. It would be limited to things like blowing leafs away, although with some training you could probably teach it to hold a rake or garden hose with its mouth.
>>
On the topic of chores, is it normal for a Pokémon to act as a maid? I mean, i thought it might be down to the Pokémon species but i wanted to be sure. She doesn't act 'sassy' or anything, just insistent on doing all the housework.
>>
>>9430075
The pokemon Cinccino has the habit of cleaning & keeping it's fur VERY clean.
So it acts as a maid & is naturally "Sassy" another pokemon however I'm not sure.
>>
>>9430084
She's a very timid Haxorus but is rather forceful when it comes to housework. I know they're supposed to be kind, but it worries me.
>>
>>9430099
I'm not sure.
It must have some kind of reason for it to want the housework done.
Has it lived in a clean household before today?
Cause it could be for that reason.
>>
A new thread may be a good idea. I'd make it, but am on my phone
>>
New thread
>>9430139
>>
>>9430114
Do you mean if the house has always been clean? If yes, then i yeah. I used to keep the house tidy and clean, then it came to sharing chores and, today, she's happy to do them all.

I've been trying to do an anatomy study for Vulpix, but my level in drawing/painting is too awful.
all I can do is show what a Vulpix should look like IRL approximately
