Because a fetish should not become a lifestyle, and furries happen to push their fetish on other people with bad anthropomorphic animal art.

I consider myself a furfag but I know the rules. Yeah, I like fur images (pokemons included) but I don't post them where I can't. The people you described are idiots

    >They all type with emoticons, especially :3
    >They practically never use capital letters
    >They constantly post their shit where it doesn't belong
    >They let their fetish define their personality and lifestyle
    >They act like special snowflakes
    >They all like the same styles ("anthropomorphic, muscley, but innocent dog-man", "chubby bara sweaty dog man", "Sonic recolor #379200948545")
    >They complain about "fursecution", like it's unjustified
    >They go into public wearing fursuits sometimes
    >They derail threads constantly to do their furry chats
    >They expect people to take them seriously despite all this

They do not belong on this website unless they keep their fetish to themselves. In /h/, you don't see people going "my hand iz moving on my own lol :3". The problem is, many of them are drawn to this board. Since their's such a high percentage of them here, they think that openly posting about it is alright.

I like that emoticon, used in proper situations

    letters
    I do
    >They constantly post their shit where
    it doesn't belong
    fair enough
    >They let their fetish define their
    personality and lifestyle
not at all. Not all furries are qp

    taking people seriously? on 4chan?

    *there's

Also, are there more shitposters and newfags on /vp/ than usual today?

    >That thread started by that guy who had never heard about Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition
    >It gets derailed by furries
    >Those request threads by the people who fill in every field, including the email field with their actual email address
    >The image dumps ("Post more ______") that get repetitive and annoying as fuck because nobody has been lurking long enough to realize that there are hundreds of frequently used websites with this stuff already there)
    >>9095936
Emoticons are never proper on 4chan, unless they are being used as an example.
many furries fail to type properly. I can't tell you how many times I thought I was talking to some 13 year old kid, when I later learned it was a 20-something furry.
Many furries do let it define their lifestyle. Going to furry conventions, going to public places like parks and dressing up (you've seen the pictures here), etc.
    It's not a cute style, it's creepy.
Derailing threads just because you want to have a furry chat is stupid. "Let people live" is not an excuse. This is a board designed for the DISCUSSION of the Pokémon franchise. I don't go to FurAffinity and start talking about partying and getting drunk, or shit like that (not that I do it), so you shouldn't come here and expect to talk with other furries instead of discussing Pokémon.
I take people seriously on boards designed around discussion. I don't go to /ck/ and make fun of them, because I can learn a lot from them and discuss different meals and recipes. don't go to /adv/ and start a greentext thread about politics and insult other posters because that board is for asking for and giving advice.

Damn, I sound like a hypocrite there. But that was a typo, not laziness.
