Its counterpart, Sableye, had better luck with the DW.

Mawile's cute, has a nice enough movepool- though so little STAB- but it's just not competitive due to low stats.
Swords Dance/Baton Pass are a good start to using it in-game or competitively, but all it takes is a single faster fighting move and she's out for the count-- and she's not outspeeding much at all.
In a team with speed-boost Ninjask she could be a baton pass target who's got some resistance to most of Ninjask's weaknesses, though.

Mawile may be the best pokemon, but it's not the best fighting pokemon. I'd rather own a dog than an elephant (not that elephants aren't awesome), but I'd rather have the elephant on my side in a fight.
