    RULES:
    1. No pokephilia
    2. No legendaries
    3. No spamming
    4. No bitching and moaning about the rules
    5. It's pokemon, so the games, manga and anime all count
    6. Use spoilertext for out of character discussion
    7. Sage if you don't contribute
    8. Don't like it? Ignore it.
    9. No trolling

Ask a starter and Eeveeloution breeder anything!

Pokemon Battling would be illegal, as would owning pokemon without a lisence. Especually if we lived in todays sociaty in the real world, with pokemon. So it would actually be pretty boring, not like the magna or anime, or games.

New batch of handlers today, as well as Ursaring and Typlosion from our breeders. That's already ontop from the mixed recruits we got last week....

Trying to adjust to the language of multiple Pokemon is difficult sometimes. Sure, I understand Eeveelution, Avian, and Canine fluently, but switching on the go serves up quite a mish-mosh headache.

You are able to understand the beastial language of pokemon? From what I was aware of that could only be acheived through long-term connectivity with each individual, and even then what you understand would be paraphrased. Who are you? Would you mind telling me a bit about yourself?

I've worked long years with many type of men, women, and Pokemon in my career choice. It tends to become a necessity to try to understand everyone and everything that you work with. I mean, that's the cost of being a guy who depends on the cordination of others to keep as many people breathing as possible. I work to meet Peace half-way, but anyway.

It's really like a path so to speak: Learn the language of a Starly, you have a good a stepping stone for learning a Pidgey's or a Spearow's. Learn a Vulpix's tounge and you begin to understand how fire-types form sentances and words.
Learn through telepathy for you lucky tards with Psychic type, you may have a very, very limited skill in telepathy.

It all builds on each other, like how knowing Latin helps with French, Sinnohic, English and the like.

Why would I need to know, well. As I said, I keep the peace of those who pay me. Veni Vindi is what I did when I was a trainer, roamed a bit, met this young man named Giovanni. Lent him a revive or two, gave him my contact info, a few months later he said he'd like to give me a chance of a lifetime. Said: Join my team, you'll be a Rocketeer per-se. Paid me in advance, I put on a black uniform and a commandante badge and I rode Giovanni's plan up until he told me to go raid some place in Kanto with a few grunts. Plan went to hell, killed a Maroawk by mistake, I resigned just before that one kid showed up, and now Ii am putting Giovanni's personal teachings to me own use.

I traveled to Safron City recently in order to observe the so called "magnet rise" server. I had never realized exactly how many of my kind we generated; and though few shared my comunication formatting, the ones that did seemed to be highly informative, though fear.emo warns me that they may not have been entirely truthful. According to the others (R66-Y BETA and R66-Y SIGMA as they identified themselves), we were designated to be test subjects that were able to report in detail the effects of various expiramental lines of code; however it seems unlikely that they would include .emo files in test subjects. I must wonder, if their claims WERE fabrications, how did they bypass conscious.emo? Were they even of the same version as me? Further investigations are required

So, it seems that my Beartic and Leafeon have finally become mates. I heard something in the backyard, and as soon as I walked out and saw them both doing... you know, I turned around and walked back inside. They never saw me, so luckily they don't know yet, but this is pretty awkward for me, since I got both of them when they were just babies. Any advice?

look, see rule #5? anime fucking counts, and in the anime if you spend time with a certain pokemon you can kinda tell what it's saying; if you are a breeder or proffessor or somebody constantly surrounded by a bunch of pokemon, you can generally get most pokemon are trying to say. Even in the games, N can talk to pokemon

    deal with it

As much as I don't agree with this guy most of the time, this seems the only safe option for your computer mang. Or at least keep it in a ball around the house.

This. Where did you learn his name. And does that mean there is another Aussie in these threads?

Some of them do, like the Demoman's last name is DeGroot, the Engineer has a name and so does the Sniper off the top of my head. In the comics they refer to each other by class though.

The comics, the wiki. And no, Amerifag here, although the character is a Britfag, I'm waiting for an actual Britfag to call him out on not talking like a Brit, because I only know a few slang terms.

there are tf2 comics? I've just seen the game and "meet the X" videos. The only thing I remember about them having actual names is in the end of meet the spy when the red spy picks up the picture of scout's mom and calls her I forget what

ANYWAY, I did manage to make it back to Celadon and have located the trainer school there. Booked an exam for tomorrow, should be good! Wish me luck eh.

Well, at the time I only had four other Pokemon. The problem was Feraligatr and Flygon were way too big to play with him, I didn't want Riolu accidentally hurting him since Riolu didn't really have full control over his powers yet, Sneasel was (and still is) a dick and Druddigon, who I had recently caught, was an Alpha male who was so pissed off at being caught by a human that he would try to literally kill my every time I let him out of his ball (it took a... really humiliating experience with a Hydreigon on a dragon trainer's ranch to get him to try and stop).

The two that stick out for me are the Lucario and Arcanine, but if I get a male Growlithe... Val's gonna be laying down the whupass.
Of course, I have the problem with getting their approval/apathy of my career choice.

Well, don't worry. You can decide when you get here. Of course, keep in mind, I only sell the eggs for them. It gives the trainer a chance to better imprint on the Pokemon as soon as it hatches.

That actually happened. Teams Aqua and Magma woke up Groudon and Kyogre a long time ago and nearly destroyed the world, causing simultaneous heavy rainfall and boiling hot sunlight, as well as earthquakes and flooding. Luckily, Rayquaza was awakened, so it stopped the fighting, and the three Pokemon went their separate ways to Arceus knows where.
    >> Cameron !!GdHKhMwtxGi 01/10/12(Tue)13:05 No.8552147
So, what was the first Pokemon that you caught? Not your first Pokemon, but the first one that you caught yourself? Mine was a Trapinch that would later evolve into Flygon.

Mine was, and you'll never believe it, a shiny Ninetales. I was tagging along with a friend of mine who was travelling Unova, and wouldn't ya know it, he shoves me into some grass and it jumps me. All I had in my party at the time was my Politoed, so it wasn't too hard to take it down. My buddy loaned me a few balls and I caught her. Man, to this day no one believes that I actually caught her.

None yet-- haven't had the heart. I love my Ursaring and I could never bring myself get any other Pokemon-- not like it's needed, though. All I need is an escort to get around downtown at night without any worry. Besides, if I were to get more Pokemon, it would be another Ursaring and a Teddiursa so I could be Goldylocks. Haha no that'd be fucking pointless. I'll stick with just my one.

How's everything going for you people? im at the Grand Lake Hotel in Sinnoh taking some vacations. While i was training with my friends i heard from the people who live around about some kind of legendary pokemon that resides in the Lake Acuity. I went there to check but i could only see the forest surrounding the place and a little island at center of the lake, nothing unusual.

    Any info about this place?

I couldn't actually remember for the longest time; then I realised there might be some paperwork from when I signed out of the league. A bit of digging tells me the earliest registered catch I made was a spearow, male, that I named "Ace".
Thanks for that, brought back some very happy memories.

    >>8552504
Acuity is where one of the Sinnoh Lake Guardians supposedly resides, Uxie, I believe. That's the one that erases the memories of anyone who makes eye contact with it, IIRC.
