-
Since the Neo era, we have had two new types: Darkness and Metal. But
only recently, basic energies for both have been released. - Stadium
cards got released, they apply an effect for both players and only one
can be played in a turn, after which it remains into play. Moreover, you
can't play a Stadium card if one with the same name is in play. Also,
only one can be in play, if a new Stadium card comes into play, the old
one gets discarded. - Supporter cards got released. Unlike regular
Trainer cards, you can only play one Supporter card per turn. Otherwise
it works like a Trainer card: play it, apply its effects, then discard
it. - Trainer cards now got separated as Item cards (play as many of
them as you wish during your turn), Supporter cards, and Stadium cards. -
Pokemon Tools are Item cards that can be attached to a Pokemon. Apply
its effects when the card tells you. It only gets discarded if the
pokemon is KO'd or if the card says it should be discarded. - Some old cards got their effects changed: Rare Candy, PlusPower, Potion, Energy Retrieval, Bill, etcetera. - The only legal sets are from HeartGold & SoulSilver onwards. - There's a new status effect: Burned (between turns, flip a coin. If tails, place 2 damage counters on the Burned Pokemon). -
Confusion now works this way: When you declare an attack, flip a coin.
If tails, place 3 damage counters on the Pokemon. The pokemon can still
retreat. - Pokemon Powers got separated as Poke-Powers (declare when
you're going to use them) and Poke-Bodies (they always work, you don't
have to call them). Starting from BW, now there are Abilities (which
don't count as Pokemon Powers, but they are basically Pokemon Powers).
These are the most important changes I guess.
>>8404202 Sure thing, I'll be waiting.
And yes, both cards are really interesting, I want to see them in play already! |
