    Hey /vp/
    It's been a very long time.
    I was here when the board originally opened. I've never seen a post count shoot up so fast. We were all so eager. United by our passion for our favorite childhood game. It was amazing.
    I had to leave for a while. When B&W was coming out. So I didn't get any spoilers. Kept myself almost completely free of anything.
    Then I got the game and worked my way through it as fast as I could. It was wonderful. I came back, and the bored was still active, thought not as much as before. I blamed it on people still being to busy playing the game.
    I left again though. It was a busy thing this time. Even all my fellow trainers ended up splitting up for a while. Things went downhill fast and I found myself to busy or just couldn't bring myself to communicate.
    I found my pokewalker the other day. I took a look on there and there was no pokemon to be found. My silver has been misplace in a move and I have to dig through a storage unit for it.
    I found the DS though, and seen my black was still in. I still have quite a bit to go to finish up my dex. Generation gaps it seems.
    I've also opened up the old soundtracks I had. I've missed it. It gives me the weirdest feelings. I'm always better when i listen to these songs. No matter how much I doubt myself through out the rest of the day, they can put me back in to where I feel I can do almost anything if I actually work hard enough to do it.

    I guess pokemon has always kind of been my spirit lifter ever since I was a little kid. It was pretty much my everything. Now that I've grown up it's not the case...but it still gives me the old feelings of hope and happiness. As childish as that really is. My little bubble.
    I'm not really sure why I'm writing all this. I know it'll just be met with criticism. I just felt like I needed to tell someone that I guess.

    You're right anon, /vp/ has kinda turned to shit. No inspiration anymore.
    Just the same pattern of threads, all day erryday. The board is getting slower.
    The kind of person who posts here so long after the release of the games is someone who is very strange. The unity of these people is what makes lurking worthwhile, though.

    i love vp. a part of the reason why i like vp so much because it is "shit." you guys (or we) are soooooo funny

    there's probably two sides to me when how i feel about vp
    first is like, "pokegirl thread! awww look at that pic of lyra. ain't she cute? there should be a naked one like that." and "hmmm.. what should i offer him for his egg move deino?" "theory/mindblown thread?? whoaaa." "requesting a pic of lilligant dancing with a roselia plz." you know, just normal stuff

    then there's that side of me when i'm all like, "oh, man i hope pokeporn thread is active so i can watch them argue about "poke-ethics" or whatnot." "damn, that buizel is going at it with that lucario! these other niggas be hatin' it! this' the most funniest thing i've seen in awhile!" and "lol, check out these 3rd gen fags getting trolled." and "hahaaaa these people draw pokeporn" and about furfags: you guys are funny just BECAUSE you are nasty, sexual deviants called furfags. but i do hate pokemon general because i think they're all fags
