    After playing both, the official translation just seems so...Robotic and awkward. In the fan translation, it's very clear when an adult or when a kid is talking. In the official, it's all the same. The fan translation also sounds more with the times, if that makes any sense. Ex: Instead of "hold on," you see "hold up."

    Official translation is more like a direct translation like reading a math text book while the fan translation is more natural to our ears like how people usually speak.

    Both.

    Pokemon games have always had mediocre dialogue, some people just expect the games to "grow up" with them and whine and nitpick when they stay with their target demographic instead.

    B/W's localization is no better/worse than any other game in the series. All that ferris wheel bullshit was just fans taking EXTREMELY vague implications way too far and expecting the localization team to pander to their fantasies.
