I'll be honest, I only realized that /vp/ even existed a month ago. I haven't posted yet but I've been lurking.
Too many unnecessary trips who make unnecessary threads and shit up the board. I'm from /an/ and you guys should learn from them. It's honestly one of the best boards on 4chan, if not the best. It's slow but has some of the best content. It could improve, but it doesn't need to. There aren't many active tripfags on the board anymore. It used to be better when there were a few because they actually knew what they were talking about and contributed a lot, but I don't see many threads on /an/ turn into tripfag circlejerks.
It's completely anonymous and most tripfags on /an/ are just "OP" or whatever. There are hardly ever shitstorms. Yeah, it's changed - and you could argue for the worse, but it still has the least amount of attention whores on 4chan.

People don't remain anonymous because "ANONYMOUS IZ LEEJUN". They do it because that's the point of the website, the ability to freely post whatever you want without the backlash an identity receives. Tripfags don't tripfag because they want their 15 minutes of fame. They do it because the concept of anonymity doesn't mean that much to them. However, it means a lot to those who remain anonymous, and ignoring that concept is like taking a shit on it to us, because this isn't FaceBook, it's 4chan.
