I guess someone on the internet forgot that some of us enjoy playing
our games spoiler-free, but that would be in the realm of accusations,
and I’m not here to discuss that. Instead, I’m here to say something that will earn an infinite amount of criticism. Gamers
should not, and can not dictate a developer’s creative vision. By
attempting to do so, you appear as nothing more than an entitled, whiny
child.> Mass Effect 3‘s ending was
perfectly fine, in my opinion. While it didn’t hold your hand in
explaining how every single molecule in the galaxy was affected by the
player’s choice at the end, it provided a fulfilling climax that was up
to the series’ standard. But, because some can’t stand the
fact that their view on how it ended wasn’t brought to fruition, gamers
have “taken the matter into their own hands.”>
After enough players complained about it, BioWare has today announced
that there will be DLC to “further explain” the ending. This does not
mean the ending will be changed, and people will yet again complain for
their entitlements. When you purchase a piece of media,
you do not own it. It’s not YOUR vision, it’s not YOUR game, it’s not
YOUR “divine responsibility” to tell the creator that their creation is
flawed, and saying your opinion is better. ALL MY RAGE!
