It tried the same "over-the-top" shit that SR3 tried to pull off except with more may-mays and it became a blunder.

The first one was bland, the second one is embarassing.

It was always wrong. Instead of coming up with their own style and humor they just stole everything and smashed it together. Is labor of love game. Its a mainstream game aimed to sell as much as possible without taking any risks.

I played the first like crazy.

And I have to say, it is a bit of a paradox, but I could not remember each one of the areas of BL2, because each one of them was more colorful and awesome ( yes, I said it ) that the previous one. While everything seems so perfect, BL2 lacks the personality ( sorry, I dont have another word for that ) of BL1. Also, the guns dont have 1 % of the appeal of BL1 guns.

It was Borderlands with better graphics indeed, but the game has no soul.
