lightning legs are impossible on a keyboard for righty's
>>

>not being ambidextrous
>>
ok first of all no they are not, not even close
secondly, why specify for rightys?
>>
What the fuck game are you talking about?

If it's SF4, you are wrong. I main Chun and it's easy as fuck. It even happens accidentally all the time which is why you should always do crouching lk lp lk instead of lk lk lk to prevent it from coming out.

because a left handed button pattern doesn't compensate for anything besides buffering

unless your left hand is fixed to press a button 4 times in under a second, lightning legs will either have to be buffered or put under special circumstances for a righty keyboard

and the way i use it is attacks on the left and motions on the right.
>>
piano mode = lk mk hk mk mk mk
>>
>you use your right hand on an arcade sticks buttons

yep sure is impossible
>>
>>198872205

Wait, are you using the arrow keys for movement? Why.

Use wasd and uio / jkl (punches and kicks). use p as a macro for 3 punches, ; for 3 kicks, h for throws and spacebar for focus.

buy a stick, faggots

because i'm a fighting game lefty by nature

no fighter compensates for it so i have to be stuck with the layout, and I'm too cheap/honest with myself to splurge for a lefty stick
>>
>>198872845
Will it make me suck less
>>
>>198872205
ASD for movement, space for jump. Numpad/programmer block for attacks.
>>
>>198872995
No, in fact for a while it will make you suck more.

Honestly i dont recommend PC players get a stick. For years you guys have used right hand for movement and left fingers for inputs, now you'll have to learn the opposite.
>>
>>198872995

No. Your control method doesn't matter. Some techniques are easier on stick, but not every game/character requires those techniques. Buy a stick if you like it, but it won't make you any better.
>>
>>198872736
why not?
i use arrow keys for movement just fine
asd punches F 3punch
zxc kicks V 3kick
>>
>>198873234
>players

It doesn't matter because it's a different control scheme, and "this side for movement" doesn't really apply because movement in fighting games doesn't work like most PC games.
>>

no fighter compensates for left handed handling: which isn't bad, and it won't be revolutionary, but it's confusing to have to learn an entire game in a way you're more comfortable thinking about with your left
>>
>>198874003
Did you miss a few commas?
>>

They make reverse layout sticks you know.

no

that and movement in a fighter is only 30% of the condition required for proper analysis, no one goes, oh, this game is all about moving, yes: if you can move well, then you win 60% of your matches.

spacing comes directly from moving, but even more directly from positioned attacks which take a lot more forethought

>>198874386
they don't sell them officially to my knowledge

wut

Left is used for movement and inputs, you micro in RTS with your left, and you move in fps with your left, where you will also be hitting inputs to activate other things.

megaman 4 is completely dishonest with itself and dr. cossack doesn't do anything besides have a daughter worth noting

and it's a bad game

Fuck you Drill Man had the best stage theme in the series.

I play shooters and your movement is with your left hand

i play fighters and my movement on an arcade stick is with my left hand

/v/ is full of retard when it comes to fighting games

agreed?

there aren't many left handed sticks I can find right now but they would have really saved me the effort of learning grapple characters. I only took them up because they are a lot easier to learn precision movement with, and Hugo is amazing

Not a true master race.
>>
Ive been playing shooters on pc since 96 and console games since the NES

i bought an arcade stick to play SF4 when that came out and learned to play on it

too many faggots complaining about square gates and saying shit like "i'm not used to it"

mother fucker i wasnt used to beating super mario brothers in 1990, that shit took some fucking time.

stop being a fucking pussy and buy a goddamn stick and practice

or stop joining my fucking games and mashing legs during my block strings or doing jump forward RH jump back fireball xN. you're just wasting actual players time.
>>
>>198876497

How can people bitch about square gates? I can't imagine playing a charge character on octagonals.

you mess up because you suck. you shouldnt even be riding the gate anyway.

the only people that condemn other players openly are those that aren't confident in their own ability.

look at japan, they condemn each other in the game, not verbally
>>
