It's kinda sad to me how 3DS succeeded. It's understandable considering how successful DS had and the amazing library it got, but games like MH3U would work a million times better on a Vita. You get used to the 3D effect so fast so you end up not caring at all and the low resolution is painful.

I think its because gamefreak are used to making 2D/suedo 3D games and this is their first proper 3D game. Its still unacceptable.

I won't be buying Pokemon X & Y anyway. Too little changes with each release. I enjoyed Red version and I enjoyed Platinum. I'll wait another 5-6 years before I get into Pokemon again.

If we're talking about the 3D games, OoT was genre defining and insta-classic, MM had one of the best atmospheres in videogames and did something completely unique (Clocktown and its residents) and it also utilized the N64's function to its full potential, Wind Waker has its artstyle and general direction they took Zelda in the new generation of consoles going for it, but it was also the point where Zelda was no longer genre defining.
