I wouldn't say the game is broken at all. Sure, it's hard as fuck, but it's mostly hard because it doesn't give a fucking inch.

Myself, I actually found the game rather boring. Just not my kind of game, I don't like having to repeat sections over and over again because of one small fuckup.

All in all, the game is like Monster Hunter; it's 100% about your skill, not about what the game gives you.

Think of Fiddlesticks as a champ. Dark wind? CC, good, lasts a decent amount of time. Relies on champs being near minions to be of maximum use. Drain? Excellent, relies on a snare or stun of some kind or else people flee. Terrify? CC, straight up, low cooldown, nothing dependant.
And the biggest one
Crowstorm - The strongest AoE in the game, channeled for something like 2 seconds. Dependant on how many champs you hit for it to be useful.

So if someone experienced
a. keeps their distance from minions and manages to still hit enemy minions
b. keeps themselves in a safe zone where drain doesn't do much
c. keeps themselves seperated or are prepared for crowstorm, execution becomes impossible.

That being said, unless you're junglefiddle, you're going to have a rough time getting your ult up properly for good players.
