Made me play a lot of games I otherwise wouldn't have, taught me how to emulate games on my computer long ago, found a place where opinions weren't drowned about by thousands of people who were so blinded by fanboyism they couldn't see any flaws in their games. Even though the wide range of opinions on this site, I feel a sense of brotherhood. Not just on /v/, but on other boards I frequent like /tg/. I don't have many friends who are as enthusiastic about games as /v/ and /tg/, so a place to talk about it is nice.

I'd say that it made me jaded towards many different fetishes as well as given me some but that was mostly /tg/.

On the opposite side, I feel a strange mix of depression and confusion over why I've spend several years on this website. After all, very rarely does anything posted here amount to anything. Then again it's not like I'm the kind of person to go outside and socialize anyway.
