I've never read any of the Redwall books but I did meet Brian Jacques quite a few times.

I used to go swimming with my Granddad every Saturday morning as they had free swimming on and Brian Jacques used to go too. Loads of old dockers from Liverpool would go.

One time I was playing dead in the water (it was like 8 years ago so I was 13) and Brian thought I actually had drowned and started to panic.

Shame he passed away. He was a nice guy.

its not that they are christian, many game makers are christian. its that they are a group who are "making games that will be founded upon, and informed by Christian thought". this puts an incredible amount of restrictions on what goes against their christian foundations. Example: no killing. redwall was full of killing, dealing with the pain of lost loved ones was often a very strong theme in the books, as was the violence and risk in living in the redwall world.
