If Zelda can look like Tetra then why can't we get a female link who would look practically identical? It makes no sense for Zelda to save Link, the entire point of their fated roles is that Link is the hero. Not that I care either way and I'd definitely stand behind Miyamoto decision but you could change it up a little. Different ages, different social positions, it's a game that transcends generations and yet it always looks the same.

Zelda gets her own game, in which she has to raise young link in a castle. Doing all sorts of things such as cooking, shopping and making sure little link has been burped. Based on her success, Link will go on to either save hyrule or fail miserably.

I know it will never happen, but it would be fucking hilarious if it did.

A Zelda game starring Zelda might actually be cool. Zelda grows up being trained in swordlpay and (light) magic use by Impa. Some shit falls over the land, evil attacks. Impa tells her that she should wait for the chosen hero, but after a while, he does not come, and she decides to take it upon herself.

Have her use stealth, disguises when in towns (make her dress like a commoner woman), magic and swordplay for combat, etc. Oh, and also have her not being able to wield the master sword. Or any other magic aside from what she uses. Of course she can get more powerful magic (like learning how to make a bow and arrow out of light magic), but not different kinds like Nayru's love or whatever have you. Of course she gets items and outfits, etc.

And then coming down like the middle of the game, she meets the chosen hero and helps him along, etc, and fights alongside him during some battles, like some boss battles. And the final boss battles where you have the deliver the light arrow blows or some shit.
