Economy has been completely destroyed before that.
Good gear (not even best) is selling for tens to hundreds of millions, huge jumps in prices between same legendaries with minor differences ("holy shit a legendary wait it's almost worthless because it doesn't have enough dex"), literally hundreds of iterations of the same legendary, getting an upgrade for yourself is almost impossible because of all the randomness involed.

Drop system is still unbelievably shit, despite all the talk from the retarded CM's and devs. The only feasible way to gear up in this game is to farm for days, hoping for some decent shit to drop in order to sell it and buy what you want.

I tried getting back into the game, but I just can't . At least I got refunded via RMAH.

When the "cancel auction" button was not yet implemented (you could only cancel in the 5 minute window after the auction was posted) you could cancel your auction at any time by rolling back your system time to before you posted an auction. The game didn't know the difference between the 5 minute window after the auction was posted and literally years before the auction was posted, so you could cancel it.

Breaking news: Blizzard confirmed a few hours ago that they will NOT rollback.
