They did a very poor job of showing it off, they were more interested in showing the xbone features.

It's coming too late and from a terrible dev. If the game had a few sequels way back in the day where it could actually develop into a solid fighting game I might actually be a little excited, but as it stands, a sequel in the vein of the original would not live up to current gen fightan standards.

This. Ultra combos were sick back when SF2: Championship Edition and Mortal Kombat were popular in arcades. Not now though, especially when MARVEL and Injustice are around and when the anime crowd got access to kusoge games like Guilty Gear and Melty Blood.

The Xbox One has to be the least tournament-friendly system ever designed. This game won't catch on with the serious fighting game crowd, but that's not necessarily a bad thing because the FGC is dildos.

Makes me wonder why MadCatz is bothering with a TE for it, though. Anyone who takes fighting games seriously enough to buy a stick is not going to get an Xbox One.

Besides that, people won't be able to donate games to be used at a tournament, they'll have to lug a Kinect around for every Xbox, they'll have to get them all online at least once per day of the tournament, and there's a *chance* that someone in the crowd could yell "XBOX GO HOME" during grand finals. Organizing a tournament for an Xbox One game would be a logistical nightmare.
