a lot of games need patches to run in vista/xp because simply changing the compatibility mode wont always do it. (also some just aren't stable still)sorry you cant keep your xp partition but personally i use multiple comps just for that.

I have Logitech old school style G15 keyboard, wired G5 mouse, and their cordless Rumblepad 2 all of which I dearly love (after rounding out the analog stick holes). But, I'm in the market for some new gaming peripherals. I'll be getting a pair of Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 for sure.I want to get into flight and racing games so maybe a wheel/peddles and yolk/throttle stuff? Anything I need to know about that stuff before running off and buying it?Also, what do you normally use for PC gaming?

Its not top of the range, but its a decent stick, has throttle, force feedback and twist stick for rudder.As for a wheel I have a fairly cheap one without force feedback, couldnt justofy spending that much for just a couple of games.

You see this picture here? This picture is bullshit. You want to know WHY it's bullshit? It's bullshit because the developers of Monday Night Combat seem to have forgotten that a class based game requires BALANCE. The Assassin in this picture is shown standing cloaked behind a sniper, but in the actual game, the fucking Assassin will never stand still. And why should it? No stealth is required seeing as it's cloak allows it to dash everywhere and kill fucking everything in sight. I recently bought the game for PC and I'm trying to figure out if the 360 version is as broken as this goddamn game. Hopefully they will balance it but in the mean time DAMN. How can you design a class that requires no skill to win with and can take out hordes of robots while other classes will spend ages just slowly whittling away at their health? I saw an assassin run right up to a Jackbot and just slash spasmodically at it and dropped it within 5 seconds. The Gunner class can't pull that shit off and only comes close if it's deployed and using Juice. Other than bullshit assassins it's a great game, they just need to raise the damage output on robots with some classes like the Assault and Tank classes.The short version: Fun, good when people work together. Just fix the fucking Assassin.And maybe give the characters more interesting personalities.Monday Night Combat Thread. What are your thoughts on it /v/?

Assassin is the easiest class to beat, end of story. Try aiming and shooting at the target to deal sufficient damage to kill the player. You're bad.

Leaping diving sniper headshots are the problem now that they have superior controls. Nerf snipers because using the mouse makes them too good!
