I bought FE Awakening on launch, but I haven't been able to play it because I feel dead inside. I don't think I've felt any emotion other than mild sadness in a long time.

I bought a DS to play in bed and it wasn't so great. Didn't really like many new games and ended up mostly playing remakes of old games with updated graphics like Mario 64 and Chrono Trigger. Though, I'm glad I got one just to play Retro Game Challenge but didn't really make the device a worthy purchase. Then recently I got the Neogeo X. I had alot of fun playing old Neogeo games but it had problems. The screen was the wrong aspect ratio, only one speaker worked, the design didn't games, no way to add more credits, no saves, no more games coming down the pipeline, and a proprietary game card system to prevent you from loading your own games. So I traded it in and backed the GCW-Zero instead. Looks to have better emulation than the DS, NGX, or PSP. And if you don't give a fuck about modern games it's perfect. This shit actually has got me excited about playing video games again. ~~Sometimes I wonder if I enjoy the hype more than the games.~~

I turn my PS3 on and idle on the XMB for a half hour before eventually turning it off. I bought the Shadow of the Colossus/ICO and Devil May Cry HD Collections months ago and still haven't touched them. I haven't haven't cared about a new release in years. I'm starting to see vidya as a waste of time. I'm old.
