Regardless, Lupinko's leaked character roster has still been absolutely correct and Frank was not on it. The first Twitter guy only repeated Lu[inko's list, said that Ksien-Ko and Phoenix would be revealed at Jump Fiesta, and a bunch of insider info as to why characters didn't get in the game.

Favorite Classes are basically:

But no, PS2 did dominate that gen, nothing wrong with that.

That DOESN'T mean that some other platform must in turn get a frown, it's not a zero-sum game here bro. 360 has some solid titles too, although in that case I can see an argument that the hardware would push impressions down a notch (the proprietary crap and the massive QA problems). but OP did underrate a number of good, newer platforms and overrate a couple of old nostalgia goggle platforms.

what this discussion probably illustrates for me as much as anything though is that nearly every platform ever has had a least a couple of gems for it.

Not really. If I call them "cutscenes" in my posts, then it's purely out of convenience, not out of ignorance. That's a very good point, actually, and you're absolutely right. During some sequences, like the first time you enter Dr. Kleiner's lab for instance, there's so much stuff for you to explore and experiment with on your own that the scripted babble in the background becomes a total non-issue (not to mention that the very first time, one might actually *want* to listen to their dialog), but then there are those *other* sequences, like the one where you're supposed to follow Dr. Mossman, where the gameplay is reduced to moving the camera around, and those are the ones I'd love to skip.

Truth be told the game is incredible in other ways as well. The mods alone are worth buying half life 2. Portal wouldn't exist without half life 2, left 4 dead wouldn't exist without half life 2 etc.
