05/09/11(Mon)19:08 No.94697142>>94694912 This is my quick 2 min review of brink from when I played it last september The
graphics, first off, were awesome! Not too brilliant but they had that
cell shaded borderlands kind of feel. Since this was a while back I rate
it about 7-8 out of ten... The rest was 9-10/10 full out. The
gameplay was fantastic, nothing was too overpowered, the SMART system
allowed a friend to get to an amazing vantage point where with my
friend's assault rifle, he picked off the enemies that were in my way.
He laid a sentry gun to assist in his fight. Sadly since he wasn't near
any other team mates he died soon and a soldier molotov'd his sentry. I,
on the other hand had managed to get behind enemy lines. As an
operative I disguised, hacked and killed my way, earning me at the top
of the leaderboard. When I looked underneath my name, I saw my friends
rising quickly. Not from getting kills but healing the team, as that
gets you far more points than just random killing. This teamwork that he
quickly learnt helped our team win the round. And with our previously
customised characters, the victory felt more sweet because it really
felt like OUR victory. This balanced gameplay and epic customisability
led me to go to the lead writer and director and congratulate them on
the amazing game. For our compliments and because of earlier heating
problems (fixed by a quickly placed fan) we earned ourselves signed
Brink T-shirts, the ones that were only worn by the staff. Brink is amazing 9.7/10
for balanced gaming, innovative free running MIXED with good FPS
quality and graphics that reflect your feelings while playing (downright
smiles) Fucking brilliant |
