An Ultralisk takes 10 Siege Tank shots to die and is so big that units standing around the Ultralisk won't get hit by the splash. Queens can also heal for 100% of an Ultralisk's health with a full tank of energy while putting out 10 anti air DPS. Every Queen you have Transfusing an Ultralisk is like it having +500 health. Imagine 3-4 Ultralisks with a combined health pool of 6000+ health for a second. The way Zergs use Ultralisks at the moment is like watching a WoW tank run into a fight without a healer, then wonder why he dies.

Colossi can't splash on them, Void Ray damage is massively cut by the armour and is so small and fast that it's easy to land perfect Transfuses. However Zerg is WAY too hard for me at the time.

Why not. If you are able to conjure a magic army out of thin air with ultras/hydras/queens why not the protoss. Army composition is also about transition. Teching to ultras means you have nothing to prevent a early protoss push with colossus

my problem with bw was that I couldn't keep doing terran or protoss production macro. There was no multiple building select so you either had to save the screen and click really fast if you had 12+ barracks or w/e or you had to keep 1 production building per hotkey until you ran out.

With zerg it was just 1-4=units 5-0=hatcheries. ez peasy and came natural to me.

I agree with force fields being the problem (at least my problem against Protoss).

I started off in Bronze and am currently in Diamond (feelsgoodman), and as I've climbed my way up, Protoss have become more and more difficult. Why? Lower tier players don't know how to use force fields (sometimes not even making any Sentries).

In lower leagues I could win against death balls because my army wouldn't get cut off, but add sentries in the mix and I simply die.

Colossi being walking siege tanks doesn't help either though.
