I remember the first time I saw these guys. Dragonforce was doing a show, and the tickets were like $20 at a very awesome venue in downtown Albuquerque, so I drop the money. Decide I am going to hang out in the bar during most of the opening acts, until I hear them warm up with "Red Wings Over Baron."

I nearly dropped my beer.

Needless to say, Powerglove, and the other opening band, Turisas, were actually very badass, and Dragonforce kind of sucked balls.

Still, worth the ticket price for those two.

It was So Sexy Robotnik and I almost fell out of my chair, and then when it got to the Mystic Ruins part I think I died (Sonic 2 was my very first owned video game, got it for my fifth Christmas along with a Genesis; fuck I miss childhood).

Also, they were pretty drunk by the time they got on stage, and I think they pissed off the soundguy, cause they were distorted as fuck.

They love their fans, though. This one kid managed to talk to one of the roadies out back, and the drummer came out and handed the kid a drum head signed by the band.

So that was pretty cool.

I just wish I didn't have work at 6 the next morning, or I would have gone to the bar with Turisas. The chick with the fiddle was hot.
