    Most of those "machines" at the gym are useless because your muscles should be working as a group, NOT isolated.

    I have some serious problem here, because of conflicts of interest. I dunno what to do. I swim 8km a week, which makes it extremely difficult for me to gain weight. But I eat like a fucking beast and I have some success - a year ago I weighted 61kg (I'm 173cm), now I'm 68kg. But while I gained some muscle, part of this weight obviously came in a form of fat, which looks disgusting.     I wouldn't go for chilled water if you're going to be doing exercise. For rural firefighting we avoid it like the devil, causes too many problems when working on the fire line. Better to go with ambient temp water or at the least, very slightly cooled water. Like if it's been left in the pantry or whatever, or in my case, the locker of an appliance.

    30 minutes mild cardio is not necessarily better than HIIT. The only reason you burn more by doing cardio after a workout is because it takes the body 15-20 minutes of exercise before it effectively starts burning calories.

    honestly, this is absolute bullshit. I've been working out for almost 5 years, I feel like the king of the world when I max out deadlifts or squats. The only confidence boost I got from this is that I'm much less timid around normalfags who look like they want to start shit cuz I know I can beat any non martial-artist up pretty easily. Regarding approaching girls? No confidence boost AT ALL.
