I've never heard of blue burst. I have played phantasy star portable, however. How different is blue burst from that one?

How much content does this game have, lets say, compared to the original PSO and PSO episode 2. Because I played the SHIT out of those games with my buddies, but in retrospect, there wasnt a whole lot to do, besides leveling up and playing on harder modes. (Yeah, I had the gamecube version)

I actually tend to remove small object textures where possible, if I can't make them look good.A lot of the debris/sticky out bits on PSO stages are just textures with transparent components. If I think they look bad and I can't improve them, I just make the alpha channel opaque, effectively removing the object.

I actually redownloaded Blue Burst yesterday and it's pretty fun. How is Phantasy Star Portable 2? Responses that are relevant to someone who's only played PSO and PSZ would be appreciated. I shied away from PSU because people said it sucked but I've never gotten a straight answer as to why it sucked.
