I'd say that 4 is the best. What I like about 4 is the game felt quiet and secluded, but in a good way. That probably sounds weird, but when playing the game today it's an oddly calm feeling. The levels and music are great too.

In terms of storyline this is one of my favourite games of all time, I just remember being really involved when I first played it. It's awesome.

And yeah the music kicks ass. California Babylon, man.

Beating Eric's last challenge to Embody the Invisible was the coolest thing I ever did in a video game.

Damn I loved that game. That and SSX3 were some great games to just unwind playing. Awesome gameplay, great soundtrack, and some really cool level design.

There will never be another good Tony Hawk game ;_;

THUG2 had an amazing soundtrack too...I like how it had Johnny Cash and Sanatra on there....

Also I loved THUG but I didn't like the conclusion. To me it was pretty abrupt and unsatisfying. I liked the whole angle with the philosopher dude and your new found appreciation for simply skating for the hell of it, but I think that should have been more emphasized. Like Custom Skater just sees skating isn't about money at all. I don't know but I think the end could have been better.

Only thing I hated about THUG was I was so excited to play it, I ended up completing it in the same day on my birthday, but it was a good time.

American Wasteland could have been one of the best but the gameplay was total shit. Atmosphere, music wise AW might be the best. Also in both THUG and AW the main character is cool, chill and awesome.

I hated the story of AW, the ending specifically. ...and those shiny skin textures. I also felt a little cheated by the "free roaming". It was alright. Playable. But it hardly compares. I felt the only good things in AW were those that remained unchanged from THUG.

on the bonus level, the stage was that actual design of KISS's 2000 tour stage. Costumes were from the psycho circus tour, and the guitars were the real thing too. The version they play of Rock and Roll All Nite when you collect all the letters is from BC Place on new years eve 1999.

what i liked the most about it was that it had a pretty good story, despite being a skateboard game, kinda took my by surprise when i played

I actually think American Wasteland had a somewhat better story than underground at first, but it ended even worse than in THUG.

Also THUG, the live versions of Kiss songs were awesome. and that massive Hawaii jump was cute.
