yes, I can, FFXi was prime to take the market WoW eventually took, it
didn't, so it failed, beacause the money was right there for the taking,
everything was in place, the game just wasn't selling as well, for
whatever reason it failed to seat itself on the throne of MMO kings and
WoW did.
you can tell me a million things, but it doesn't mean
shit in front of that fact, that it easily could have done everything
WoW did finacially, but it simply didn't.
>>73281214 sorry,
but the market considers WoW to have the best PVE, and my opinion says
as much as well, the boss encounters in WoW outstrip anything FFXI ever
did, it was bland slow, and the combat plodded along, postioning ment
nothing, it was a numbers race worse than WoW ever was in its very worst
boss.
FFXI only has PVE, it has no mini-game content that anyone
cared about, the economy was one of the worst in MMO history due to
items constantly flooding the market, non-existant PVP (nowdays a
deciding draw for an MMO, even above PVE).
FF14 could,
potentially not do so bad that it needs to shut down, but it will, in
the end, be as much of a success as FF11, hold onto about 40k-10k
subsribers and fade into obscuirty and apathy, because no one will care
about it, because it will do nothing exciting.
whatever it does,
be it bad or good, it'll still do it as boring as ever, they learned
NOTHING from FF11 and it shows, they deserve nothing more than what they
had with FF11, if not worse for making the same mistake twice.
and you deserve whatever they give you. |
