Eh, /a/ has had some decent meet ups in the past few years. I've been to one here in Sydney and I know that there have been quite a few in Canada. Most of the people I met post on /v/ as well and were quite civilized.

A solely /v/ meeting would be terrible though since we share so many users from /b/ and a shit ton of other shitty gaming websites though.
