When i'm playing on a normal server i'm generally mildly amused. When i'm playing on a /v/ server where everyone is trolling each other and micspamming i can't fucking stop grinning for some reason.

What makes us better than other game discussion groups is the lack of censorship. If you start a heated argument on most forums you will be banned. That is ridiculous. There are even some forums where you will be banned for taking up an opinion that runs contrary to the moderation's beliefs.

The best gaming community is probably not anonymous and it's probably not the forum equivalent of IRC. It may also be full of people who make mods and well structured posts that are intelligent and entertaining to read.

I've seen roughly 3 people who have contributed a genuine mod to gaming and post here and even less who make decent threads about vidya games.
