Ragna is one of them, since I haven't found a bad ragna whom didn't rush me down, bait me into a blockstring/burst, and basically make it pointless to play.

As for Trial Mode being bad, it's not really a bad thing. It's just a problem I'll have. See previous example:

There's a good reason to be anally pained if you played Nu.

Yes, nerfs were needed. I'm fine with the damage nerfs, the speed nerfs, the hitbox nerfs, the smaller sword hitboxes, and all the other shit. But did they really have to alter Nu's moves so Goddamned much she's essentially nothing like her old version? It's one thing to nerf the fuck out of someone. It's another entirely to effectively change the moveset so much you can't use a single combo you learned in the previous game. I'm fucking pissed about that. Now I essentially have to relearn the entire fucking character, because none of her shit functions as it used to.

The MOST you can do off of a 5DD hit is Act Parser Blade which is a new move and 236B, and if you have the heat, RC it into 5DD 6DD 2DD into J.DD JC J2DD.

Nu was ridiculously easy to use. Even if /v/ played BB casually they would get stomped out by her god-tier zoning and huge damage.

Rachel is hard to play so most people here probably never played a good Rachel. If I could get a curse against Rachel I had a chance at least, but the match was really decided in the first ten seconds or so. Once in Rachel's rushdown you really couldn't do anything.

I am glad they nerfed Rachel even if it was an overnerf, but they buffed Litchi's corner shit and almost made it as bad as Rachel's.

Like we've said, tiers only really matter at the highest level of play. A /v/ level Bang can easily go toe to toe with most of the cast, but once it's between two really good players who know everything about the game, Bang becomes much weaker. It's the same reason why you can actually see Tager players win matches in /v/ rooms, but in real tournaments he typically gets destroyed.

A scrub hakumen vs a scrub rachel is an even match, i'd even go so far as to give hakumen the advantage since he doesn't have long combos and can do high damage if the opponent inevitably drops his combo.
