as for the disabling of third party memory cards, that was true at a point, but then with a new firmware updte, you can use any old flash drive you have laying around as extra storage, to be used for saved games and downloaded content like demos and such. they do limit your space at 32gb however, this is so you don't just go out and buy a 1tb usb hard drive for your 360 and force them to buy their own.
